Welcome Dr. Irish to the Adobe Veterinary Team!

Dr. Irish has recently graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in Biomedical Science. Dr. Irish was a part of the second graduating class of the University of Arizona’s School of Veterinary Medicine.

Her professional interests include strengthening the human animal bond through client education and caring for her patients through all life stages, from birth to end-of-life care. Dr. Irish is excited to start her career in veterinary medicine and looks forward to providing comprehensive care for pets in the Adobe area.

The monsoon season is always an eventful time at the Adobe Veterinary Center. Animals and pets of all kinds come through our doors during the heavier rainfall and more extreme weather that occurs during this period.

Our doctors and technicians are prepared to treat pets with a variety of ailments that tend to spike at this time of year including skin irritations from excess moisture, injuries from falling branches or debris, infections from standing water, and respiratory issues due to higher pollen counts and mold growth.

We recommend that pet owners be extra vigilant during the monsoon season. Keep up with flea and tick preventatives, limit time outdoors especially for elderly or weak animals, and keep a close eye out for any changes in behavior, appetite, energy levels or other symptoms that could indicate an issue.

If your pet also get's anxious from thunder and storms please give us a call to see what anxiety meds we can provide for your furry friend.

If you have any concerns about the health and wellbeing of your furry companions, please do not hesitate to contact us. The safety and comfort of the animals in our community is our highest priority.
