Joanne adopted Nomad now known as Riley. This is what she had to say about him. "I have broken him of trying to chase every car that passes us on walks. Even though he is not a lap dog, he thinks he is and loves to cuddle. He is such a sweet dog and I don't know what I would do without him."

Just heard from our adopter who loves her girls. They now live in New Mexico and are quite spoiled! Rainbow, now known as Willow. She knows her name and comes when called. She also tells time, when it's 11:15 am she finds us and tells us it's time for her lunch.
When we moved here, we screened in the back porch so the girls can go outside but be safe from the owls and hawks, as well as the coyotes who roam the neighborhood.

Wanda, now known as Little Girl (we tried lots of other names and nothing seemed to fit, in the meantime we referred to her as the little girl so that's who she is). She is pure trouble and we love her for it, she knows how to open the lower kitchen cabinet doors and hides there.

Well I received good news in my email box. Tucson Cold Wet Noses has committed to the rescue of Mariah. Thank you Tucson Cold Wet Noses! Tell her Gus is safe and in foster care. That still leaves Scotty hunting a way out. He is 7-8 years old and needs a dental. FAIR is willing to pull this guy. Thanks to a wonderful adopter who contacted me to say they are willing to help with the dental and a grooming of this gentle giant. Contact FAIR at 722-3553 and leave a message if you can take this guy in for the holidays. Lets get him out and those teeth taken care of. If you scroll down you will see his pic at PACC with his nose in the gate looking for our love.

LOST DOG Recieved a call from an individual missing her Min Pin 3-4 year old lost in the Grant/Stone area. Dog is all black with some brown Tail docked full length ears floppy Please let me know if seen

Today we pulled Gus from PACC who is under treatment for tick fever. Since we only had one available foster home we had to leave Mariah behind. She too could be treated for tick fever if you are willing to open your home this holiday season to allow her to get over her disease. Treatment is simple an antibiotic given twice a day. FAIR will pay for the authorized medical care of any animal we pull. Once well Mariah will be placed for adoption in a suitable home. Wouldn't you like to help these animals. By doing so you aren't just helping Mariah and Scotty ( you can see his story below) but opening kennel space for another dog to start treatment. If interested please contact us at 520-722-3553 for further information.
