During my last vet visit with Avis and Ziggy, Dr. Dennis Monument East Veterinary Hospital , made certain the girls' heartworm tests were up-to-date. She said they have seen an uptick in cases recently. Today, Kim Maynard from Continental Ranch Pet Clinic posted this information on the rise in heartworm in our area. It is easy to prevent, but not fun to treat. Talk to your vet, get you dogs tested, and on heartworm prevention if recommended by your veterinarian.!
