Our Mission Statement
Claws And Paws Rescue is a non-profit, no kill animal rescue that is committed to:
• Promote quality adoptions and improve lives for animals and their families until there are no more homeless pets in Pima County.
• Rescuing animals from Kill shelters, foster them, then finding them permanent homes.
• Helping the public with our “Spay don’t Litter” Program which offers kit

ten and puppy placement services in addition to helping the owners retain their pet(s) by spaying and/or neuter their adult companion animals. Our goal with the “Spay don’t Litter” program is to help keep animals from ending up in Kill shelters.
• Educating the community about responsible pet ownership and the benefits of Trap Neuter and Return of Community cats though our youth and adult volunteer programs. Claws & Paws Rescue mission is to locate homes for homeless companion animals in Pima County. In addition to this important mission; an equally important goal is helping elderly individuals and disabled pet owners keep their pets in their homes. We feel that no one should have to give up their beloved pet, because, they cannot afford to feed them. Therefore, we are holding a “PET FOOD DRIVE” we call our "PET FOOD PANTRY”. The aim of our PET FOOD PANTRY is to keep animals in their homes where they belong; keeping them from ending up in shelters. To date we have donated over 2500 pounds of food to organizations such as The Arizona AIDS Foundation, Marana Food Bank, and the Interfaith Community Services. Any donation towards this Food Drive would be greatly appreciated.

Join us at PetSmart 10625 N. Oracle Road for National Adoption Weekend. We will have Dogs, Puppies, Cats & Kittens. We are now located in the front right corner of the store from 12 to 4 PM.

🐱🐱All our felines are Spayed/Neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccines, are microchipped and have tested negative for Feline Leukemia (Felv) & Feline Immunodeficiency (FIV) regardless of age.

Thirteen adoptions in the last 2 weeks. Including 7 kittens from the adoption center 4 kittens last weekend and 1 kitten this weekend.

In addition we had 5 kittens born in a foster home, 3 kittens rescued from PACC and 9 kittens rescued by a Good Samaritan

Foster desperately needed.!!!!

88 dogs taken in by PACC over the weekend. Shelter is far beyond capacity. Therefore, dogs will have to be euthanized to make space. Claws and Paws will provide everything needed to foster.

🚨 URGENT NEWS from PACC 🚨: We took in 88 dogs from a single home on Saturday evening, pushing the shelter to a record high capacity of 628 dogs.

PACC’s Animal Protection Services team received a call from the Tucson Police Department late on Saturday evening regarding a home that was being condemned. PACC officers found a large number of small terrier and Dachshund-type dogs at the property, including several litters of puppies. The majority of the dogs have been surrendered by the owner and will be available for adoption or foster from PACC once they have been medically and behaviorally evaluated, with some available as early as today.

PACC is in IMMEDIATE need of fosters and adopters for the dogs at PACC. With 628 dogs in our shelter, the need is now.

We have many adult dogs in need of foster/adoptive homes as well as several litters of moms and puppies who need foster homes. All dogs and puppies are currently FREE to adopt. If you can help, please come to PACC today. We are open from noon to 7 p.m.

In addition we took in 17 kittens including 4 bottle babies, 2 adult cats, 1 pregnant cat and 7 puppies.

Frog playing with his favorite toy and climbing the cat tree with ease. As you can see this little guy does not allow his differently formed legs to effect him or stop him from enjoying life and being just a normal kitten, doing normal kitten activities. This is the reason why he inspired us to start Claws & Paws Rescue.

This video is of China Rose. When she first came to my house she wouldn't let me touch her for over a week. Now all she wants is to be petted and scratched under her chin. However she does give little love bites from time to time, when she does I just tell No Bite and she stops. She would make someone a great pet if they would just give her a chance. Although she does need to be an only pet. She is available for adoption. Please share this so we can find her a forever home.
