Welcome to Heart of the Horse!

Heart of the Horse is located by Houghton and Tanque verde. We offer individual horseback riding lessons, equine therapy with a licensed therapist, and trail riding for advanced riders! We have 20 horses available, we provide all tack and helmets. We have 2 arenas, 3 round pens, and 15 acres of on property trails!

Located near Tanque Verde/ Houghton in Tucson
Pay is dependent on knowledge, availability and reliability. With the opportunity for a monthly bonus.
Pay is $20-$30 per lesson
If you need to be trained, pay will be half pay until you can instruct without help.
Reliable transportation is a must!
Needing morning and evenings.
Looking for someone who can teach w/t/c and make corrections when needed
During the interview, you will groom, tack and show us your teaching ability along with riding one of the horses.

Hiring for two positions!

1. Riding instructor

Mon- Thursday 4:15-5:35pm
Saturday 8:45am- 10am

More lessons available if wanted. Must have references and reliable transportation. Price depends on experience.

2. Shift work

Mon-Friday mornings, 6:30am-8am. Duties include feeding 25 horses, filling waters, and mucking 3 stalls. Pay is $25 per shift with monthly bonus. Opportunity for additional work if a good fit.
