Have you ever wanted a bearded dragon but don’t quite have the space needed to dedicate a 4x2x2 enclosure to one of them ? Well I’m happy to tell you we have some of these gorgeous little Hartmanns agamas available , these guys are an arid species very similar to bearded dragons but they come from the afrotropics of north Eastern Africa and can be found in South Sudan and Eritrea. These guys prefer rocky shrublands and are terrestrial for the most part but like bearded dragons when given the opportunity they will climb. These are fairly uncommon in the pet trade now with little information available about their captive care but what we’ve been doing at the store seems to work and they have been happy and thriving !
