Sol Dog Lodge & Training Center provides training and boarding services for the Tucson area, specializing in behavior modification. We offer private training options, and are conveniently located near Prince & I-10 and a second location at 9665 N. Our indoor kennels at the Prince location are climate controlled, and the director of kennel operations lives on-site,

providing 24/7/365 care for your dog. Sol Dog Lodge exists, above all, to support the people who love dogs. Our goal is a community where life with dogs is enjoyable, and where dogs all live healthy, balanced lives in committed homes. We recognize the importance of rescue groups and shelters in meeting this goal, and strive to support these entities through our work. We also generally have several trained dogs up for adoption. Sol Dog Lodge and Training Center is a non-profit 501(c)(3).

Join us in welcoming Nina to the Sol Dog family!

We took Nina in from the amazing folks at Pinal County Animal Care and Control to play our small part while they face an overcrowding crisis. PCACC took in this little cutie from a 120+ dog hoarding case over 18 months ago, and she's been at the shelter, helping as a playgroup rockstar and patiently awaiting a home, ever since.

Nina has some things to learn about trusting people and new situations, but she's a very stable and happy little girl considering all she's been through! With some real one-on-one attention, we expect her to absolutely flourish. 🌟

Nina will be up for adoption after a vet check and some training. She's 4 yrs old and around 40 lbs.

We are so grateful to Mark's Ace Hardware (Thornydale/Linda Vista) for hosting our August Dogs, Donuts, and Donations event where we collected more than 200 lbs of dog food, toys, and treats!

Keep your dog looking fabulous through the end of 2024! It's hard to believe that we are already eight months into the year. Between August to December if you groom every:

📅 4 Weeks: That's only 5 appointments
📅 5 Weeks: That's only 4 appointments
📅 6 Weeks: That's only 3 appointments

The holiday season is extremely busy for us. Pre-book your grooming appointments today to secure your slots and ensure your dog is feeling their best through the holiday season! 🐶✨

URGENT: PACC expecting impound of 100+ large dogs

Our Animal Protection Services team is currently working two separate large-scale cases that will result in more than 100 dogs coming into our shelter within the next few days. We are not able to share many details publicly at this time, but as Pima County's only open-admission shelter, we must take in pets that are facing threats to their safety and well-being.

With 539 dogs in our shelter this morning, we are in IMMEDIATE need of adopters and fosters for the dogs already in our shelter to make room for these incoming impounds.

Dogs and puppies are currently free to adopt, and all pets adopted from PACC are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines. Foster homes who can take a dog for two weeks or more are also desperately needed.

If you can help, please come to PACC, 4000 N Silverbell Road in Tucson. We're open 1:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

This is our Puppy Play and Learn Level 1 ! Ages 8-15 weeks. This class has been approved by our board of veterinarians, we take extreme caution in sanitizing ALL equipment and floors before our puppies arrive. We use veterinary grade facility cleaner and all humans are required to wear booties upon arrival to keep the little fur balls safe and healthy. This class promotes healthy and educated socializing, we discuss foundational topics like puppy “biting”, house management, resource guarding preventatives, and what appropriate play looks like!
