Thank you to all who came out Sat. and brought pet food for the Marana Food Bank and enjoyed free coffee, donuts--and dogs! The next Sol Dog Lodge Donuts, Donations and Dogs will be Saturday, Feb. 1st, 10-11 a.m. at Pet Supplies Plus, in the Fry's Shopping Center, Lambert and La Canada. We couldn’t do it without wonderful volunteers, clients and new friends. Thank you!

After 61 dogs came into our shelter yesterday alone, PACC is starting the day with 517 dogs and ZERO open kennels - and we're expecting another big day of intakes today.

Here's how YOU - yes, YOU! - can help:

🐾 FOSTER! Even a few days would be a HUGE help and would help us clear a kennel for the next dog to come in, and just two weeks would be a literal life-saver. We've got foster packs with all the supplies you need ready to go - we just need you! 💙

🐾 ADOPT! All PACC dogs and puppies are free to adopt right now!

🐾 Those who find healthy, friendly lost dogs should take steps to find their owners and reunite them BEFORE bringing them to the shelter. Post them on local social media, register them on lost.petcolove.org, hang flyers, and simply walk them around. Dogs that are kept in their neighborhoods are statistically much more likely to make it home than dogs brought to the shelter.

🐾 Those who have LOST their pets should be checking at PACC and should come in ASAP to reclaim their pets if they're here. Reclaim fees are waived in the vast majority of cases.

With the number of animals in our shelter, we are sadly facing deadlines for space - but it's critical to remember that ANY dog who leaves the shelter helps reduce our census, keep pets safer, and reduce the need for census deadlines. What's happening in 2025?

An exciting new chapter for the AGR Foundation - Sol Dog Lodge & Training Center. We will obtain our Certificate of Occupancy by the end of January.

This milestone will mark the culmination of years of hard work and dedication, allowing us to officially open our doors and welcome you to our beautiful new space.

Thank you for your continued support and patience as we work diligently to bring this project to life.

Visiting The Cottages of Tucson, Leo got some extra special treats and love from a resident who shared stories and pictures of his favorite “soul” dogs: two terriers. We always get more out of these visits than we give.
