Friends and Clients,
Rosemont Pet Clinic is excited to be making plans to open and see you in person again! Our doors will reopen on Monday, June 21. We intend to follow the latest CDC guidelines and will offer our clients choices on how they prefer to attend their appointment. We will also have modifications to our traditional appointment routine. We ask our clients to respectfully follow the CDC guidelines as well. To accommodate our small reception area and maintain our ability to continue to help more clients, we have some new procedures.
In Person Appointment
These will be conducted completely in the exam room. Clients will be limited to one person in a room.
• Call the office when you arrive. You and your pet will be shown directly to an exam room.
• The exam and consultation with the doctor will take place in the room. We ask that you remain in the room during the entire visit.
• After a treatment plan is decided, we will take payment for the visit and schedule follow-ups if required.
• Typically, we would take your pet to the treatment room for treatment, but because we are limiting movement in the clinic and have more pets in the treatment area, we will treat your pet in the exam room (with the exception of Xrays).
• To minimize the number of people in the exam room and for safety, we ask that you return to your car while we treat your pet and we will bring your pet out to you following treatment.
Curbside Service
For those clients that prefer to not enter the clinic, Rosemont Pet Clinic will continue to offer curbside service.
• The doctor or the technician will call you regarding the treatment plan (if necessary).
• A technician will be out to finalize payment and return your pet to your car following the treatment.
Drop Off Service
For existing Rosemont Pet Clinic clients and pets that have been seen by our doctors, we offer Drop Off Service in cases where the client and medical staff agree that a pet should be seen, but there is not an appointment available in the time frame required. You must call the clinic and establish a drop off appointment and time.
• Call the office when you arrive and a technician will meet you at your car, take a history and information about your pet, and then safely take your pet in the clinic.
• Leave a contact number where you may be reached.
• The doctor will exam your pet as time is available, call you with questions and discuss and agree to the treatment plan.
• Once your pet is treated, you will receive a call to pick-up your pet.
• Call when you arrive for pick-up and a technician will meet you to take payment at your car and return your pet to you.
Prescription, Food Pick-ups or Other Clinic Visits
As we are limiting the people in and passing through the reception area, prescription, food and supply pickups, and sample drop offs will remain curbside for now.
• Call the office when you arrive and a technician will service your request at your car.
Thank you for all of your patience, understanding and flexibility over the past 14 months!!
