Thanks to everyone who came out to our fun training day in the park. It was a great morning to be out with dogs. Special thank you to all the club members and guests who pitched in to help setup and tear down rings.

The dog/handler teams today did amazing! We are so excited to see these novice teams progress.

We will hold another fun match at Reid Park on Saturday, March 15th.

Rally Novice & Rally Advanced courses will be available 8:30-10:30am.

Congratulations to OP Member Mike Jennings and his dog Chase for High in Trial Obedience at the Heart of the Desert cluster (January 31st, 2025) under judge Terri Thorton. We are very lucky to have Mike as our lead obedience trainer!

So much fun today at our first all club training day. It started out a bit chilly but warmed up nicely to be a perfect day to train. It was great to see Rally teams working the courses and lots of awesome obedience work. Great job to all the teams and a special thank you to all that pitched in to help!!!

Winter class registration is now open thru February 1st. We will be offering basic obedience classes at Reid Park during the month of February. Classes will be held at 6pm on Wednesday evenings. Please see our website www.opdogtraining.com for more information and to register.

In preparation for upcoming shows in Tucson, OPTC will be hosting a Rally/Obedience fun match at Reid Park (Dog Training Area: Country Club near 22nd street). Cost is $5/run OP members, $10 non-members. No pre-registration, cash only day of event.
CGC and Trick Dog Testing $5 member/$10 non-members per test (plus AKC fees).

Fall classes are in full swing. We've got some amazing teams and super sweet dogs! Thanks to our wonderful trainers Mike & Leslie for the fantastic job helping these team be the best they can be!!!

Old Pueblo will hold obedience and rally classes Wednesday, Oct 2nd as scheduled. The weather is supposed to be slightly cooler, and the sun will set at approximately 6pm so it should cool down pretty quickly. Please bring plenty of water for yourself and your dog. (Pre-registration is required)

There will be an advanced rally course available for drop-in run throughs starting at 5:45pm.

YES!!!! Old Pueblo will be offering novice classes starting September 25th at Reid Park. OPDTC has confirmed the dog training area is reserved for our fall classes. We will be offering Obedience, Rally and Tricks classes. You must pre-register for classes on our website. Registration for fall classes ends September 20th at midnight!!! Don't miss out!
