Extended downstays can simultaneously increase drive and yet also calm your pup down. As we increase focus, we also maintain more control over what our dog does next. Have a reactive dog? Practice doing 20-30 second downstays on a training bed or mat a few times a day.

Lucia just finished her training program. She learned to use the potty yard outside, learned to walk nicely on the leash and got much more comfortable in her crate training. The improvements this dog made in such a short few weeks is incredible.

Teaching a puppy to leash walk next to a walker or scooter can be a challenge. Be patient and clearly communicate WHERE you want puppy to walk so he doesn't get bumped by the equipment.
