Still space in our hands-on cooking class this Sunday!

This week, we will be making
Ginger Congee with Roasted Tofu, Mushrooms, and Traditional Chinese Dipping Donuts
—and you don’t want to miss it!

Congee, a soothing rice porridge, is gentle on the digestive system, hydrating, and perfect for recovery or sensitive stomachs. It provides steady energy and can be customized in so many different ways with nutrient-rich add-ins like ginger, greens, protein, and more. This dish is traditionally valued in Chinese medicine and Ayurveda for its healing properties—not to mention, it’s delicious!

Spring Break River Rafting Camp
For Teens of Military Families
March 10-15, 2025

Join us this spring break for an unforgettable rafting adventure on the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon! Open to military teens (ages 13–17) of all skill levels, this grant-funded camp features thrilling rapids, team-building activities, and lifelong memories. Airfare reimbursements up to $200 are available, with pick-ups at Pima and Maricopa County Extension offices. Military status verification and a safety interview are required. Spread the word to other military families!

No need to register, just show up anytime between
4 and 5:30 PM.

Little Sprouts is a hands-on, early education program for children ages 2-5. When attending Little Sprouts sessions children and their accompanying grown-ups have the opportunity to spend time in the garden, try new foods, and learn about the world around them. The program is filled with investigation, discovery, exploration, and most importantly fun! Each activity is thoughtfully chosen and facilitated to guide and encourage the cognitive and emotional development that young children are continuously experiencing.

Spring Session 1 starts Feb 14th!

‘Market on the Move’:
THIS weekend: January, 11th
8am - 10am

For a donation of $10 you can get a large variety pack of fresh produce and food that you can share with your friends, families, neighbors, and people in need.

Here’s how it works: Drive up and make your $10 donation per order (cash only at this time). Then pop your trunk, pull forward and we’ll load your vehicle!

Everything is prepackaged and ready to go.

Please arrive early as our produce is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. This event starts promptly at 8 am and goes until 10 am or until supplies last. If you join us later during the event, be prepared to wait in line as we do our best to rapidly fill cars with produce.

🚨TICKETS GOING FAST🚨

In this winter series, learn how to prepare 4 different hearty and healthy soups. Participants will be cooking in our fully equiped commercial kitchen and led by Chef Bruce Yim and the TVF Kitchen Crew. All ingredients will be provided. Each class will last 2 hours and you will have delicious soup to take home each week. You can register for 1, 2, 3 classes, or for the full 4 class series.

Age: 8+

Time: 2:00-4:00 pm
