RezDawg Rescue, Inc and Paws & Claws Animal Rescue of Quay County will be back with our 2nd Spay and Neuter Clinic, happening February 28th to March 2nd, 2025!

We'll have three amazing veterinarians performing spay/ neuter surgeries and one dedicated vet providing wellness exams.

Surgery cost was $25 last time (November 2024) BECAUSE we were able to secure funding, thanks to the sponsors NMDOG, Bonner Family foundation, Bissel Pet Foundation & PetcoLove. If Quay County pet owners want that cheap price again we need everybody to pitch in to keep the cost low.

If we are unable to raise $15,000 for the Clinic, we will still be coming, but the surgery price will need to be closer to $100 for surgery, vaccines and microchip!!! 🙏

Update: Chewy🐶 is in a foster home now with our dog trainer Emily Priddy and her husband Ron, who loves little dogs💚. They will foster him, train him up, and get him ready for his forever home.💕

RECAP 2024:

💚194 pets entered the rescue
💚59 pets were adopted
💚7 pets were reclaimed by their owners
💚119 pets were transferred to partner rescues
💚25 pets went to our prison program and Thanks to the patience and dedication of the guys at Eastern New Mexico Correctional Center in Clayton, 15 dogs have completed basic obedience training
💚208 community pets received free vaccines thanks to PetcoLove
💚87 community pets have been transported to P.E.T.S clinic in Amarillo, TX to get spayed and neutered
💚312 community pets have been spayed and neutered, thanks to Angela Cerci with rezdawg, Dr. Susan Meany and her team, and the sponsors NMDOG, Bonner Family foundation, Bissel Pet Foundation, PetcoLove

🐶🐱🐶we end the year 2024 with 34 dogs & 2 cats in our care!🐶🐱🐶

🐶Cash🐶 graduated from the prison program a couple weeks ago and is still looking for her forever home 🏡 💕

Female, 3 years old, 45 lbs, spayed, vaccinated and microchipped with lifetime registration!

She gets along great with human and dogs!

From our dog trainer Emily Priddy:
“I saw the most incredible obedience demonstration this morning at the prison in Clayton. One of our beautiful dogs - Cash - topped off her two-minute down-stay with a spectacular recall. To pass the test, the handler has to walk 20 feet away and then call the dog.
That's impressive enough, especially in a room full of people, other dogs, and loud noises, but Cash and her favorite human took it up several notches: Instead of just walking 20 feet, her handler walked about 30 feet, then climbed a flight of stairs to the second-story walkway and called her from up there. She ran past at least three or four dogs and a dozen people, then up the stairs to her handler, who scooped her up and carried her back downstairs while she peeked over his shoulder like a puppy, wagging her tail the whole time.”
