Miss piggy at Bravo is never thrilled with us but she sure thanks us afterwards when she can walk soundly from her trim.
The goats definitely needed it before the wet winter comes. We lay them on their sides so it’s safest for us and them when trimming their hooves. Typically we tag team the animals we work on so it’s done fast and efficiently for the animals sake.

This was our routine trimming visit with the lovely Bravo Farms on the 99. We always indulge in the awesome food and beer selections after working on their animals. Try it if you’re ever passing through Traver.

✅ Don’t wait till your livestock is lame or getting an infection. Hoof rot is so common in the winter and it happens before we know it.

Did you know ⁉️➡️
We have our own flock of 25 sheep and we know personally that it’s so important to jump ahead on problems that become bigger pain in the rears than we want. Usually happening at the worst most inconvenient times too. 🫣

We can take care of those trims and make your livestock sound for those wet winter months and your vet bills seemingly 🚫 non existent.

Central Valley and Southern California!
It’s starting to feel like fall, isn’t it❓❓❓

This is your first alert and your sign to get your livestock wellness needs in order for the fall.
There is nothing better then having a peace of mind that you did your duties for your animals and got them taken care of before it’s too late.

Winter is wet in most areas in California and that can cause a lot of hoof rot and fungal infections. SOOOOO a trim is a must before those problems progress and cause lameness issues or worse.

Reach out today as we start making routes for trips in your area.

We sheared a dozen Southdowns today for Riverbend Southdowns in Kings County. It’s been in the triple digits for a month now but It wasn’t too hot under the shade with fans blowing our way.

Our little shearing hand even got a book from the Riverbend folks as they babysat him inside while mom and dad worked. We really do have the best customers. ❤️❤️

Fair is coming up within the next week. We’ve had several people reach out for help!
While we love clipping animals, we will not do the entire job for you. We want YOU to learn how to wash and clip yourselves. These are valuable skills for future projects.

That being said, we are offering this next week washing and clipping help so you as a parent or exhibitor can learn how to do so yourselves. We find value in enabling the project owners and guardians to know how to do these skills-as it is a huge part of ownership.

Reach out if you’re struggling, we have over 15 years of clipping experience for show lambs. Very current on trends and blending methods. 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

💥East county San Diego was so much fun. 💥We got so many piggies feet done and a few goats as well in this much needed break in the weather. 🤩

Don’t worry, we always take the necessary precautions when trimming hooves. No food until after appointment and check often for breathing when working with squishy noses. If the piggies are screaming thats a good sign they’re okay.😁
Although our ears might not be okay at the end of the appointment. Maybe that’s their tactic to get us to go away. 🤣

💥Greetings everyone!💥

In such fashion, we are late to telling everyone HAPPY NEW YEARS! We hope it’s been off to a great start thus far‼️

2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣2️⃣ brought a lot of good memories, one of them being that owners -Kelsey and Kurren got married back in April. Some of you might of remembered this as they worked up until a few days before their wedding to get your animals taken care of for the summer shearing. Kelsey has a really hard time taking vacations and Kurren really just wanted to chillax and enjoy the moments off. You can see why they say opposites attract.

♥️We wanted to thank EVERY single one of you as you made it the best year yet. ♥️

💥2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣3️⃣ 💥is going to be an EVEN BETTER shearing season. 😉

Schedules will be coming out soon for this summer. First day of shearing is April

The weather is cooler and moisture is taking place within the ground where your livestock reside.
Know what helps during this time of year?
A HOOF TRIM 😎

Trimming your livestock feet is essential, just as it is for us to take care of ourselves in many ways. Trimming their feet reduces lameness issues and the infamous hoof rot when standing in wet grounds for so long.

Reach out today if you need a trim for your sheep, goats, llamas, alpacas, and PIGS!

REMINDER: we are servicing Modesto to the California/Mexico border towns.
Stay tuned for dates!

11/07/2022

We did some local trims this weekend in the Tulare County area and it was a very easy trip. All the pigs were so cooperative and it made both ( the pigs included) our times a lot more enjoyable.

🔵If you need your piggies trimmed, reach out for an inquiry as now is the time to do it. The cold air brings moisture and the moisture softens their feet for an easy trim.

🟢Don’t forget we also do hoof trims sheep and goats. AND Trims on both the feet and teeth on the alpacas and llamas.
