These babies are 6 weeks old today!!! They had an appointment for tomorrow but with the weather has been delayed to Monday, going for health checked and first set of shot. They are eating and learning to use the puppy pads to potty. With it being so cold out, we have not had the opportunity to start taking them outside. Piper’s pups are growing, they have their eyes open and are starting to move around more each day! They are 2 weeks old as of yesterday (12/13/24), and are so adorable!!!

Piper did a good job! We have 4 boy and 2 girls! It was a hard long labor for her, but it only took her an hour and half from start to finish! Mama and babies are doing great!

Carrot & Pumpkin Chew Sticks for Dogs 🥕🎃🐾

These Carrot & Pumpkin Chew Sticks are a healthy and chewy snack your dog will love. Packed with fiber, vitamins, and natural sweetness, these sticks are perfect for rewarding your dog or keeping them entertained with a wholesome chew.

Ingredients:
1/2 cup grated carrot
1/2 cup pumpkin purée (unsweetened, no spices)
1 large egg
1 1/2 cups oat flour (or whole wheat flour)
1-2 tablespoons water (if needed for consistency)
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Combine the wet ingredients:

In a mixing bowl, combine the grated carrot, pumpkin purée, and egg. Stir until well mixed.
Add the dry ingredients:

Gradually add the oat flour to the mixture, stirring until a firm dough forms. If the dough is too dry, add water one tablespoon at a time until it’s firm but pliable.
Shape the chew sticks:

Roll the dough into thin logs about 4-5 inches long and 1/2 inch thick. Gently flatten or leave them as rounded sticks for easier chewing.
Bake:

Place the chew sticks on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until firm and lightly golden. For a crunchier texture, bake a few extra minutes or leave in the oven with the heat turned off to cool.
Cool completely:

Allow the chew sticks to cool fully before serving them to your dog.
Storage:
Store these chew sticks in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week, or freeze them for up to 1 month.
