In January, I would like to offer mid day visits for a quick walk or playtime. This would be a visit that is scheduled on a regular basis or if your schedule prevents you from coming home at lunch. You can call me or message me at any point during the day as long as you can give me a 30-45 minute notice in case I’m at a previous drop-in visit.

❗ Attention Clients ❗
I'm sure you have all seen the news about the sickness going around amongst dogs, it seems to present as kennel cough symptoms but the meds said to treat kc isn't working for this strand of virus. With that said if your pets are sick please, please keep them at home, if you arrive and I notice your pets aren't acting as I would normally see them, I WILL SEND THEM HOME!
If you are arriving for a boarding stay and do not bring a copy of current vaccines, I WILL SEND THEM HOME! In no way do I mean for this to seem or sound rude but, we are doing our part here to keep everyone healthy and happy..

I do disinfect my house 3-4x daily, we mop with disinfectant floor cleaners, bedding is washed and disinfected daily and the kennels are sprayed with RESCUE daily to help keep from spreading unwanted germs and viruses, I do my part to keep everyone healthy while they are here staying, please do your part and make sure if you notice any changes in your pets to get them to the vet asap and to reschedule any grooming and boarding stays. ~Stephanie

This notebook was given to me as a gift from Bella & Charlie two new boarding girls that came all the way from Montana and stayed here with us while their humans traveled down to Florida for a relaxing vacation with friends back in October.

This notebook has sat on my kitchen counter until last week, I wanted to use it for a purpose and not just a notebook to jot notes in.. I had taken it out of the brown paper bag it sat in many times looking at it and reading the kind note that was left inside, wondering what I would let its purpose be and last week I decided it would be to help local pets in need.

Each month my goal is to have 10-20 id tags made for pets, these tags will include your pets name, and up to 2 phone numbers, I am also hoping by the beginning of the year to be able to offer a few microchips, vaccines and a few spay and neuters.. maybe even a small pet food pantry for those needing help.

I know how costly all of these things can be and want to help when and where I can and to use this notebook for the purpose I've choosen, if you'd like to donate any dog or cat food for local pets in need please reachout to me @931-308-0858 I am hoping to have an account set up at my vets office to make donations for microchipping, vaccines and spay/neuters soon!

No call/No show/Cancelations/Reschedules of less than 24 hours notice = pre-payment required to reschedule + missed appointment total

** Boarding **
Last Minute Cancelations less than 48 hours notice = pre-paid re-booking + $50 LMC Fee

Peak Months Cancelations less than one week prior to arrival date = pre-paid re-booking + 1/2 of total cost of pre-booked stay.(peak months listed below)

Before & After Hours drop off & pickups will be charged an additional fee of $30

Dirty dogs, allergies and environmental allergies!

*red/ rust dog in the first two pictures is my personal dog that is bathed 1-2 times weekly, she is allergic to processed dog foods, treats, the outdoors, herself 😂 she's on a very strict regimen of baths, raw wild game only food & treats ect.. I chose to include her in this post to show you even what you may think would be the cleanest dog is actually just as dirty as the others..

The others are clients that come bi-weekly to every 5 weeks to just give you an idea of just how fast these critters get dirty! Some have food allergies others have environmental allergies and some are just dirty dogs..

*did you know, bath appointments can be scheduled between your regular grooming appointments at a discounted rate to help with all of the above.

‼️Pet id tags‼️Microchipping‼️
We all know it happens, pets sometimes slip away from their owners, even if you think oh, my dog/cat would never do that.. yes, yes they might very well see something that peaks their interest and off they go! (My dogs are rebels sometimes too!)😂

Dogs and cats are more likely to be reunited with their owner with proper identification, pet id tag, microchip, ear tattoo(maybe not as common here)
❗️check your local shelters if your pets are missing, check with neighbors, post to social media, always have a recent picture of your pet ect..afterall they are considered your "fur kids"❗️

I know microchipping is a bit costly but a pet id tag can be as cheap as $5 a cute inexpensive collar can be as cheap as $10-15 so for $20 or less you can rest assured if your pet slips away from your care they have on a form of identification!

If your dog is like my Pearl dog and breaks her id tag off weekly (don't know how she even does this) then let's talk microchipping! I can help with a few microchips and even help you register them!

If you're looking to bring home a new "fur kid" check your local shelters first, they are full of great dogs and cats! Most shelters now spay, neuter, vaccinate and microcip prior to adoption so it's a win, win!

Koda and Sophie want to remind you, if you want to keep your pets coats a bit longer for the cooler weather to brush, brush and brush some more at home between grooming appointments to help avoid any tangles and matts!

Did you know you can also book a bath, brush out and fluff dry between your regular grooming appointments to keep your pets long and fluffy! (We recommend bi-weekly care for longer coats)

*we do not offer extensive de-matting for your pets, it's an extremely painful process not only for your furry pets but also for your groomers hands and wrists*

If you ever ask me how often I recommend cutting nails, I always say every other week. But in reality life gets hectic and that's okay! But at most a monthly nail trim is important!! When nails are not properly maintained the quick will continue to grow along with the nail itself, making it impossible to get that nice short nail you desire your pet to have. Overgrown nails are painful and will cause your pet to have an altered walk to compensate for the discomfort they are feeling.

We offer nail trims @$10 we can also dremel(if your pet allows) @$20
