Hi y’all! I just wanted to invite you to my son’s show Saturday night at the Venue Shrine! Ty is 16 years old and has been a full-time touring musician for about 2 years now. While I stay home, hold the fort down, and keep the clinic running, my husband drives Ty all over the country playing shows. He was nominated for Texas Young Artist of the Year and a Josie Award. He’s had 4 singles go Top 40 on Texas Country music charts. He played 73 shows last year, and he’s already booked through March this year. The Smiths are off to Colorado! Since we are supposed to get some winter weather here in Tulsa, we will be closed Monday, Jan 6th, and Tuesday, Jan 7th. We plan to reopen on Wednesday, Jan 8th, weather pending. We will have staff available to answer questions and fill medications. Dr. Smith will be back in the office Monday, Jan 13th.

‼️ATTENTION ALL DOG OWNERS‼️
Distemper is a FATAL disease that is spreading through our neighborhood. It's not just happening in raccoons out in the "wild" and in hunting dogs. If your dog isn't current on it's distemper vaccine (also called DHPP, DHLPP, or DA2PPV) they are AT RISK. AND THERE IS NO TREATMENT. If a dog is brought to me with these symptoms, there's nothing I can do to help them. Please vaccinate your dogs to keep them healthy and to avoid the heartbreak. Call us at 918-747-8561 to schedule a same-day appointment.

If you see ANY of the symptoms listed below in your pet, please seek medical attention immediately.

“Canine distemper virus (CDV) symptoms in raccoons potentially include:
🔺Movement issues: Stumbling, moving slowly, or appearing disoriented
🔺Behavioral changes: Loss of fear of humans, wandering aimlessly, or appearing confused
🔺Respiratory issues: Runny nose and eyes, crusty eyelids, coughing, and trouble breathing
🔺Other symptoms: Vomiting, diarrhea, tremors, seizures, chewing fits, or a rough hair coat.”
