Clinic Update: There was a “minor” construction setback of a few weeks. We will hopefully open *sometime* in August. In the meantime, here’s a photo to cheer you up. We appreciate your loyalty and patience!

Unfortunately, we will not be doing any at home Dr visits in the immediate future, during this time of mourning for Dr. Smith and her families unexpected loss of her sister. We are accumulating a list of clients and patients, for when we do resume our visits, or we can send your records to you should you need to visit another clinic in the meantime. We apologize for the inconvenience this presents for you and your pets. We are sorry for not being able to help you at this time, but we all greatly appreciate your patience and support until we may be available again. Jen and Haven are available for tech only visits at this time. Thank you.

From the street, the Brookside Animal Hospital looks fine but as you get a closer look, you'll find a "closed for renovations" sign that's been posted on the door for nearly 12 months.

NewsChannel 8 - Tulsa at 5:00 this evening. In all honesty, our insurance company has taken good care of us. To my knowledge, we are currently waiting on the other party’s insurance to approve the bid on the contractor before any kind of demo/remodel can start. We are trying to remain patient and hopeful. Watch for us on KOTV - News On 6 at 10pm!

My son, Tyler, wrote this song called “Christmas All Alone”, dedicated to troops, first responders, those who have lost loved ones, or anyone else who is feeling lonely during the holidays. We got great news today. Not only are we rebuilding in our same location, but we are expanding! We will be back, Tulsa! Bigger and better than ever before. Thank you for your care and support 💜 See y’all soon!

We will be back. Somewhere. Someday. But for now, we are taking a step back to regroup. Allow our minds, bodies, and souls to heal after such a devastating loss. We love our clients and patients, and we appreciate all the support. Huge thank you’s are owed to Dr Heather Owen & her staff at Animal Acupuncture, who opened their doors and hearts to help us out; Dr Jana Layton & staff at Riverbrook Animal Hospital, who have helped make sure our patients are taken care of in so many ways; and Dr Troy Macnamara & his staff at Animal Emergency Center, who have always supported us with their equipment, time, and expertise. Dr Smith’s last day will be Aug 24th. Jen & Kelli will stay behind for a little while to help everyone with the transition. Stay tuned for more info on medication pickup times, record transfers, and clinics in our area that are willing to help until we are able to reopen. Until then: stay beautiful, Tulsa. ❤️

PLEASE understand that we are lucky enough to borrow their space. We are not the same! They WILL NOT have your meds. Beyond all else, BE KIND to this rockstar team that is helping us out.
