What does it mean when the axolotl stays at the top even when it swims down, and the tail floats back up?
This little guy has a gas bubble. Constipation is common in juvenile axolotls. When this happens it can sometimes last for several days. No need for fear. Don’t do any harsh treatments such as fridging. Make sure the water perimeters are good and the temp is not above 68 degrees. Then just give him time to poop and all will be back to normal.

Jeremy gave Scarlet a ping pong ball. It didn’t take long to find her playing.
