Meet Ace! This energetic kid is the star of our show and is always eager to participate. He arrived at our facility two weeks ago with his siblings. While Ace is friendly with dogs and people, his new family must be prepared to make slow introductions to strangers. He loves to spend his time playing and enjoying life. At approximately eight months old, we believe he has been potty trained, but he might need a bit of a refresher course on how to do his business outside.

If you're ready to provide Ace with a comfortable place to play and sleep, please visit us at our shelter located at 3031 N. Erie Ave. Our kennels are open daily from 2 to 6 p.m. You can also view all of our adoptable pets on our website at https://24petconnect.com/TulsaAdoptablePets. Ace's ID number is A171133.

Meet Faith, our star! This warm-hearted pup returned to the shelter in April 2024 through no fault of her own. She spent about a week at the facility before a foster caregiver stepped up to help her. According to her foster, Faith is a fantastic dog. She is dog-friendly, loves hiking, and is perfect on a leash. Faith greets her foster with adorable leg hugs that melt hearts.

Her only "complaint" is that Faith has the most expressive puppy dog eyes, which can guilt-trip anyone into sharing their food!

At approximately one and half years old, Faith is both house- and crate-trained. She knows when it's time to climb into her crate on command—what a smart girl!

If you're ready to meet this sweet pup, please contact Kristyn Million at [email protected] or (918) 596-8010 to set up a meet-and-greet. Faith's ID number is A160672.

Recently, we received a generous donation from a celebration of life event. The donation was made on Monday, Feb 24 in honor of an individual who dedicated their life to showing passion and love for animals. To honor this individual, their family organized a donation drive for Tulsa Animal Services. Our team and animals are incredibly grateful for this thoughtful donation.

If you would like to make a donation, please consider visiting our Amazon wish list at https://a.co/9WjlXI1 or stopping by the shelter at 3031 N. Erie Ave. If you have any questions about the items we accept, please do not hesitate to call us at (918) 596-8010

Meet Admiral, a sweet pup who arrived at our shelter in early February as a stray. This lovely girl is approximately six years old and already knows the command "sit." She is very responsive and eager to learn more. While she is food-motivated, she is still learning to take treats gently.

Admiral is searching for a loving home where she can curl up and spend her days walking with her humans. If you are ready to provide this spirited pup with a comfortable place to play and sleep, please visit us at the shelter located at 3031 N. Erie Ave. Our kennels are open daily from 2 to 6 p.m. You can also view all of our adoptable pets online at https://24petconnect.com/TulsaAdoptablePets.

Tulsa Animal Services urgently needs foster homes or rescue assistance!

We currently have 13 mother dogs and 65 newborn puppies that require immediate placement with local rescue groups or foster families. The litters contain between five to nine puppies each, and it is essential that the puppies stay with their mothers. While we provide care for them at our shelter, they would thrive much better in a calm and spacious home environment.

If you are interested in fostering a mother and her puppies or any other dog at the shelter, please contact Kristyn Million at [email protected] or (918) 596-8010.

We are collaborating with local rescue groups to find suitable homes for these animals. If your rescue group has available space, please reach out to us at (918) 596-8010. Thank you for your support!

*Senior Cat Alert*
Tulsa Animal Services has several wonderful senior cats searching for their purr-fect forever homes. These felines are older and require a calm, patient environment to help them adjust and feel comfortable in their new surroundings.

One of these cats is Kat (A170854), who is approximately 13 years old. Sadly, Kat's owner passed away in February, and she has been with us since then. Initially, she may be shy, but she is incredibly sweet and needs time to warm up to new people. She may feel uncomfortable around new furry friends because she has never been around other animals.

Another senior cat needing a loving home is Domino (A170787), who is approximately 10 years old. Domino and her companion, Oscar, were brought to our facility by the Tulsa Police Department on February 4. Domino is a bit more timid and requires a home with plenty of cozy hiding spots. She prefers to observe from a safe distance and in a secure location.

Oscar (A170784), who is approximately 11 years old, is a laid-back cat who loves to find a soft and fluffy spot to nap the day away. He enjoys his alone time and would do well in a quiet and peaceful home.

Are you looking to give one of these senior cats a home? Visit us at the Tulsa Animal Services shelter at 3031 N. Erie Ave, our kennels are open daily from 2 to 6 p.m.

Can't make it in? No worries! You can see all of our adoptable pets online at https://24petconnect.com/TulsaAdoptablePets.

Introducing James, our featured pet for this week! This adorable pup was brought back to the shelter on February 13 after testing positive for Parvovirus, commonly known as Parvo.

Our dedicated clinic team worked tirelessly to nurse James back to health. After just over a week, he is feeling much better and is now seeking human and furry companions to cuddle with.

James is approximately 14 weeks old and is ready to find a home! He is available for adoption and foster. If you are looking for a new four-legged friend, visit us at the Tulsa Animal Services shelter at 3031 N. Erie Ave. Our kennels are open daily from 2 to 6 p.m. All of our available animals can be viewed online: https://24petconnect.com/TulsaAdoptablePets.

Parvo is a highly contagious disease that can be transmitted through direct contact with infected dogs, f***s, or contaminated surfaces. Treatment for parvovirus involves supportive care and medication to alleviate symptoms. The most effective way to prevent parvo is through a series of distemper/parvovirus combination shots. If your pet has not received these vaccinations, isolating them from infected animals and surfaces can reduce the risk of infection.
