Life at the shelter is anything but boring for our furry residents! Here’s just a glimpse of what our “models” are up to while they wait for their forever families:

✨ Practicing leash walking and showing off their new skills
✨ Splashing in the kiddie pools
✨ Playdates with other pups
✨ Learning “sit,” “paw,” “four on the floor,” and how to take treats gently
✨ Enjoying grooming, stuffie and toy time
✨ Racing around the yard and soaking up every bit of attention they can

They work hard every day to learn, grow, and stay happy — but more than anything, each of these angels is dreaming of the day their person walks through our doors and chooses them. 💛

Fae is a 2-year-old wirehaired terrier mix weighing just 22 lbs, and she’s blossomed into the sweetest companion since arriving on August 8th. At first she was a little shy, but she’s quickly shown us her warm, happy personality and we’re all smitten.

She walks wonderfully on leash, making her the perfect partner for strolls through the neighborhood or relaxing walks in the park. Fae loves gentle attention, pets, and being near her people.

He’s met other dogs during his stay with us and has done pretty well, especially with pups who match his more gentle play style. Loki is all for a nice long walk and plenty of attention from his favorite humans. 🐕💛

Meet Gyro, a 5 month old, 44 lb sweetheart who’s been patiently waiting over 30 days for his forever home. This handsome boy is neutered, up to date on vaccines, on parasite prevention, and microchipped — ready to go the moment you are.

Gyro walks beautifully on leash, loves exploring, and has met lots of other dogs here at the shelter (he’s a total pro at playtime!). He enjoys all kinds of toys but loves spending time with his humans even more. 🐕💗
