Here are two of our up-and-coming sires that we are very excited about. The Rifleman HR is the last natural calf from the Legendary LLL Rosemary sired by RHF Sharpshooter. The second bull Ironman HR is a son of PC 40 out of Drag Iron Daugher and a full sister to Rebel HR.
Exciting things are on the horizon.

We just love the job that Jammin Tex has done for our partnership. His calves are extremely consistent in all capacitiesies. If you are having issues with a lot of white he can add a beautiful paint job as well as a unique brindle. He measured in at 88.5" TTT back in August of last year and pushing a ton in weight. He is a son of WS Jamakizm and out of the $97,000 Texana Garland Gal.

Ironman HR is a young bull that we just put out with a small group of females for his first breeding. His sire did phenomenal things for our program as well as for the industry. CedarView Ranch did a post earlier today to the point on all of the sons of PC 40 who already are 90 or will be soon. Several of these should also mature into the 100's. We have all of the confidence that PC 40 sons can get the job done. This young bull measured 71.5" TTT 5 days after his second birthday. His dam is an AI calf sired by Drag Iron and out of a full sister to Rebel HR. He has a real shot at being the next rockstar sire with the HR brand on his hip. We will keep you posted.

This family has been so special to our ranch. Hard to believe we are letting go of a full sister to Rebel HR. She is 90+" TTT and heavy bred to Pacific Cowboy 40 who is just a 1/8" TTT away from 99" TTT. Her daughter sold at the Hudson Valentine Stockyards Sale for 35K earlier this year to Bull Creek Ranch. We are retaining two of her daughters and many other relatives in our program. She is a dandy.

HR Arabian Nights went to heaven today. She was 2 mos. shy of 23 yrs. old. She gave us 16 beautiful calves and was always one people commented on in the pasture. She is the last of our TVR Aladdin line and we only have one daughter left, HR Arabian Star. This pretty mama is going to be very missed on the ranch as she was a favorite. She lived a good life.

I love when Justin Rombeck comes to the ranch for his twice yearly go thru of the herd and picture taking....but 906 pictures.....my eyes are crossed and my butt hurts from sitting here messing with all of them. That being said, it is sadly very obvious when Kent and I take pictures. Justin and Kyle almost always get them standing straight, head up, good lighting, etc. Soooo take a look at our website www.harrellranch.com for new pictures of the herd. We would like to show off SOR SUPER DUTY. He is a son of CV CALL OF DUTY and out of Lady Rex who is upper 80s TTT. Lady Rex is a daughter of MC Super Rex and out of a Sittin Bull daughter that is also huge horned. SOR Super Duty measured 80.25" TTT at 28 months and is very large framed. He is owned by Vanderford, Whitlock, and Harrell Partnership. His early calves look wonderful with a lot of meat and powerful conformation. This Bulls book is just being written but we feel it will make for one heck of a story.

Texoma Sale is in our neck of the woods this weekend. If any of you are coming to Tulsa for the sale and want to get a quick tour of the ranch, just let us know. Our ranch is about 45 min. from the stockyards.

HR Arabian Star (Lot 31) was too close to call on breeding so we think you will really like our substitute. Wasn't planning on selling her quite yet, but HR Rebel Remembrance (our Lot 31 sub) always stands out in the pasture with her silver coloring. She is a 5 yr. old and her sire is the well known REBEL HR and her dam is RRR Miss Remember Me 358. She is bred to Pacific Cowboy 40 and should be calving in May.

Warlock HR sire is a full brother to HR Slam's Rose and Rowdy HR and his mom is the best WF Commando cow we have. He is growing horn like crazy... As of 2/24/21, he measured 90" TTT and that does NOT count the 3" he broke off his right horn. He continues to grow horns and has a wonderful large frame. As you can see from the photos below he is also producing lots of color, horn, and very nice conformation on his offspring.

Del Charro has been a sire that has not had huge opportunities in the past to cover a lot of females. Although, he has proven he can shine on a diverse set of females and bring frame, color, and his wonderful disposition to the table and pass it on to his offspring. He was in the top 5 sires for Money earners for Futurites in 2022. Hickory Creek leased him last summer and they will be having about 30 calves from him shortly. We look forward to putting him on our herd again this summer for the second time and adding more of his progeny to the herd.

Jammin Tex is making a name for himself in the industry. At the end of the day it all comes down to the calves a sire puts on the ground. Any bull can make babies but a sire makes in impact on an industry. He has daughters that sold as cash cows in 2022 and there will be more of that in the future. He is currently coving cows at Bentwood Ranch. He will be going to Champion Genetics next week to have more semen pulled as we are getting low on inventory. We have also put up some of his fancy calves for all of your viewing pleasure. Have a wonderful evening.

Dr. Gene Berry ran a very closed herd that started back in the early 1980s. He would bring in outcross sires from time to time but held to very traditional characteristics with his program. Bayou Star was a cow we picked up at a past Midwest sale and has done very well for our ranch. She has since tipped both horns but that doesn't stop her wonderful production on the sires we have utilized at Harrell Ranch. The first daughter is sired by Rebel and the second by WF Comanndo, Rebel's sire. With Doc's dispersal sale, we picked up a few more of these females from Lousicana and can't wait to see the babies they will make for us here in Oklahoma.

Full of Bull! This we feel is a good thing. We like to utilize linebreeding when we can. Rebel and Warlock are very closely related and will or will continue to enhance our industry moving forward. We also have a plethora of outcross sires that are doing wonderful things at Harrell Ranch. We strive for perfection and hold our cows to the highest standards. Be hard on your herd. They are not perfect and you have to find the flaws so you know how to fix them. As always if you are in the area come by and see the ranch. We would love to show you around.

HR Rose Command is a full sister to Rebel HR. She is 7 years old and measures 87.5" TTT. She just gave us her 4th daughter and we also have a very nice son of hers. This has been a very powerful family for us. Powerful genetics.
