When a couple of farm gals head to Michigan, of course they find themselves happily paying to harvest on someone else’s farm! 😂 A day spent at Blake’s was well worth the effort though-we ended up with carload of tasty treats! Highly recommend if you are in the Detroit area!

Our ‘Queens of Spring’ workshop at the at Woodward park was a hit! Such a treat to enjoy all of these peonies in their full blooming splendor in arrangements, as they have to be harvested and sold when fully closed for best vase life. All the flowers and greens used in the class were grown in Tulsa by Posegate Farms. Thanks to all the participants for attending and for the on-site help!
Already looking forward to next year’s workshop!

Please enjoy this video of (relative) calm from the Posegate Farms perennial patch. We use primarily overhead watering techniques for our gardens. Nothing fancy and it works just fine for us. Just about anytime I run the sprinklers I can be mesmerized by the steady swishy fan of water. Caught some beautiful autumn sunset diamanté sparkles in this one!! Take a few minutes and enjoy this brief peace. October is a month where we flower friends must bid goodbye to our precious outdoor plant friends. So I lingered by my peaceful garden for a few minutes after turning on this water to enjoy the show. ✨✨✨💎💐💎✨✨✨
