About Us -
In August 1998 I took in a litter of 1 day old kittens w/ no mama. These guys became my Original Foster Litter. I kept Scrubby, my Original Foster Fail, & I knew I wanted to foster again someday. In February 2014 we adopted Baxter, an FIV+ cat, & welcomed him into our family. After living with an FIV+ cat, Baxter gave us the confidence to start fostering litters of kittens for our local shelter, Tulsa Animal Welfare. How It Works -
We volunteer to take care of (otherwise homeless or euthanized) Mama cats and their baby kittens until they are big enough and healthy enough to be sterilized and adopt some Humans to call their own. And YES, they ALL get spayed and neutered :-)

Their trial run went so well that we decided to let them stay out. Spice is such a spaz, you can imagine my surprise when she was the first to come settle down & snuggle on my legs 😍 She quickly figured out how to get in bed with us and she loves to burrow under the covers with me!

Haven't been able to get a picture of them sitting still so here's an action shot for you. Pumpkin is the blue on the right and Spice is on the left. They're doing really well! I took them on a field trip through the house tonight. I hold them close and just show them around the house and let them see the family cats for the first time. They seem really healthy so we will probably upgrade them to Free Range Kitten status in a couple days.

So yesterday I went on a mission to find tiny Coal a surgery recovery suit that would actually fit her. I found 3 brands that *said* their small would work for our petite girl and ordered all 3 with overnight shipping. One of them worked! So Gingerbread doesn't have to keep trying to save his sister from the cone of shame and Coal can eat and drink a lil easier. I spent half an hour gassing her up, telling her how pretty she looks 😍

I got sick a few days before christmas and it developed into an URI, been sick since, so sorry I've been MIA. All 3 babies had their spay/neuter surgery this past Tuesday and it went well. The next day, Coal's incision site started opening up a bit. She was too small for the surgery suit I had on hand so I had to make her a paper plate cone. Well. Gingerbread decided to break his sis outa there and started chewing through the plate 😂🤦‍♀️ Don't worry, her incision is already closing up! All 3 are adoptable through
