Absolutely love watching our K9s keep their communities safe. Just a few weeks out of our Torchlight K9 school and already made their first bust!! 💪😎⁣ ⁣ From the Okarche Police Department 🚨TRAFFICKING METH ARREST🚨⁣ Well Forrest, your mama was one smart lady! Yes, yes she was…we got that dog to further increase the safety & security of our beloved community. I recall being asked, “Do we need a drug dog…” Well, here’s your answer. 👇 ⁣ ⁣ Yesterday evening, Officer Vincent stopped a vehicle in Okarche, occupied by individuals that OPD is way to familiar with (and i’m not talking like they stop by the pd to wish us well or drop off donuts & coffee), no these individuals have enjoyed plenty of face time with officers. ⁣ ⁣ Officer Vincent upon making contact immediately recognized the occupants, one even bolted from the car as if she had something better to do. Officer Vincent could sense something was afoot, something was awry…after some preliminary discussions, Officer Vincent unleashed Big Rocky to the scene. Within seconds, K9 Rocky alerted on the vehicle. When all the dust settled, 3 people were arrested for Trafficking Methamphetamine and/or drug precursors / paraphernalia. ⁣ ⁣ So, if you find yourself saying, “hey self, why would we need a drug dog?” ~ well, 👆 that.
