was organized in 1947, and is the oldest obedience training club in the State of Oklahoma. All members offer their services on a volunteer basis and receive no remuneration. In order to carry out our objectives, the members work together to perform the many chores necessary to provide the services we offer. The Tulsa Dog Training Club is located at 6307 South 107th East Ave. Our facilities include

a 12,000 square foot air-conditioned building with plenty of paved, lighted parking. The adjacent outdoor area on either side of the building is completely fenced. TDTC exists to promote the training of dogs, to conduct dog training classes, and to promote sportsmanship in the training and exhibition of dogs. The club conducts group obedience and agility training classes, from puppy kindergarten to the highest levels of competitive obedience and agility. TDTC hosts obedience and agility trials, and supports Paw Pals therapy group. Paw Pals members and their “Canine Good Citizens” visit local nursing homes & assisted living centers, children’s hospitals and group homes. TDTC members are a diverse group of dog owners. Interests range from competitive obedience, to agility training, to Paw Pals therapy visits. Some even do it all! No matter what your goal, TDTC offers classes and activities for all to enjoy! To promote the training of dogs and dissemination of knowledge regarding obedience training. To conduct classes for the training of dogs and their handlers. To hold and support obedience and agility trials, exhibitions and matches. To promote cooperation and good sportsmanship in the training and exhibition of dogs.

Tulsa Dog Training Club will be holding an AKC Scent Work Judge's Education Seminar on Saturday, October 12, 2024.

This one-day seminar satisfies the seminar option for new judge candidates and counts as continuing education for current judges. You must attend the entire day as a full participant to meet the AKC Scent Work seminar requirements. The seminar will be split between classroom instruction/discussion and hands-on activities.

Spots are available for judges full participation spots as well as audit spots for those interested in furthering their Scent Work knowledge.

TDTC is having a Scent Work trial on June 21-23 that will be held at Holland Hall School and we need your help. We need volunteers to help time and gate steward. There is a sign-up sheet at the club or you may email Kathy Gray at [email protected].

We will be setting up for the trial on Friday, June 21, at 8:00 a.m. at Holland Hall. Please contact Kathy Gray if you will be available to help set up and for details on where to meet.
