VACCINE CLINIC UPDATE!
We’re thrilled to be back at Yelm Farm and Pet with another Low-Cost Vaccine Clinic! This is a great opportunity for pet owners to keep their pets up-to-date on important vaccinations that help ensure the health and safety of our community.

When: SATURDAY MARCH 8TH
Time: 9 AM to 12PM
Where: 11242 Bald Hill Rd SE Yelm, WA 98597

Services include:
- Vaccines for dogs and cats (12 weeks and older), including core and non-core vaccines (Rabies, Distemper, Lepto, Bordetella, and FeLV/FIV).
- Microchipping through Save This Life
(Please note you must register on a different website other than STL)
- Deworming treatments for hook/round/tapeworms
- Payments for services will be made directly to Deschutes Animal Clinic at the time of service. We accept both cash and credit card.

***LADIES AND GENTLEMEN***
Don’t forget, tomorrow is our weekly “nail trim Wednesday”.
We will take walk in nail trims (no appointments needed) from 8:30 am until 3:30 pm. (Please note prices vary by service and size of pets)
It is a cash only clinic, as we do not run credit/debit cards for discounted services.
We also offer
- walk in nail files (Dremmel) 
- walk in a**l gland expressions
- walk in ear cleaning
- walk in paw pad trims
- walk in sanitary trims
**Dogs that require a muzzle, two or more staff members and additional time for safety reasons will come at a higher expense. This is for the safety of our staff as well as the safety of your pets.
We also DO NOT service cats at this time.
PLEASE CALL AND SCHEDULE FOR BIRD NAILS WINGS AND BEAKS, BUNNIES, and GUINEA PIGS

Dear Clients,
For the past 5+ years we have been carrying the ‘Save this Life’ microchip. As of Friday 2/7/25 the company has ceased doing business.
We are as shocked as you are, there were no prior indicators that anything was amiss and they were still selling the chips last week. Our emails and phone calls to ‘support’ go unanswered. We have also found out that some of the STL microchips are not showing up in national data bases of enrolled pet registrations.
The American Animal Hospital Association ( AAHA) maintains an upto date national registry. To see if your pet is registered, please visit this link:

If your pet is registered you don’t need to do anything else.

If your pet is not registered, the link provided below will allow you to register your pet for free and WILL show up in the national database.

Today we introduce you to Billie Jo, she is both a licensed Vet Tech and a certified dental technician ( can you guess where her focus is?)🤣
Billie brings a wealth of experience and passion to our dental dept. She is always thinking of
ways we can improve our client/patient service. She has a weakness for little dogs, white boxers and horses! 🦷🪥

Today we’re mentioning Sandi, she has worked in Vet Med since Mrs Doubtfire and the Eagles were on top of their movie and music game! 🤣 Sandi works in surgery, does Laser Therapy and anything else we ask of her ❤️ She drives up from Chehalis every day, so she must like us! She loves making pets feel better. Pictured here with ‘Little bit’ Don’t be fooled by the name, this little lady has a BIG Attitude!

Let’s take a close look at another of our wonderful Veterinary Technicians. Today we would like to introduce Madison. Madison attended Pierce College to get her degree and become a licensed Vet tech. She did part of her externship at Deschutes and we managed to convince her to join us after graduation.
She has shown such growth in her skills and confidence and we couldn’t be happier. She was our only surgery technician for a little over a month earlier this year and she more than rose to the occasion- she was a Rock Star! 🤩
