Summer is upon us. This brings blue skies, smiles and good times. It also brings hot weather and insects.

Our furry friends may have a harder time adjusting to the heat. Always check asphalt temps and bring fresh water for walks.

Mosquitos are abundant and can lead to exposure of heart worm disease. Please visit The Heartworm Society or talk to your vet on how to protect your pets.

But above all…enjoy the weather and keep waggin.

Happy Monday! November is national pet diabetes month. It’s all about learning ways to prevent and treat diabetes in our furry friends.

Factoid: cats can go into remission from diabetes, however dogs cannot.

Friends. If you’re looking for a kitty, look no further. The Kauai Humane Society is bringing over 450 cats to adopt out in Seattle. This is near and dear to my heart since I grew up on Oahu. If anyone is interested and needs help with coordinating travel or pickup, please contact me. 🐈 🌴 🌸
