Words cannot describe how devastated the Farm and our family is after yesterday, The farm lost a long time member, for over 20 years this mare has been apart of herd, she started it as the first horse on our farm, from our smallest herd of 4? To our largest of 11 she’s been the mare you can pull off the pasture and hop on and go, maybe trailer to a fun show, many a times my father would load her up and say we’ll beat everyone this time… they never did but they tried! They always put something on the board. She was the definition of “an oldie but a goodie” she was the foal teacher, taking care of any unchecked manners. ANGEL, had so many miles on her the odometer couldn’t read them. Although her ears never really stayed up ever and were usually back, her heart was full and caring, a lot of people know that she was the one that if you were crying she would rest right next to you and let you know she was there. We are forever grateful for the hours and miles this mare gave us, all the memories and stories of this mare herding our cows to a neighboring pasture, or running away to a barn that looked like ours when she first arrived will never be forgotten❤️ we love you miss Angel🤍
