Equine Practice Big News!
We are sad to announce that our senior equine veterinarian and acupuncturist Dr. Mike Stanford and his wife Jana our Office Manager will be leaving Taylor Veterinary Hospital to move out of state to be closer to their family. We consider them both family and are sad to see them leave but are so grateful for the time and friendships they have built with our company.
With Dr. Stanford no longer practicing with us, our equine hospital will continue to maintain Dr. Rebecca Curry as our main veterinarian. Until we find a replacement veterinarian for Dr. Stanford our equine appointment and after hours availability will be less than what our clients are accustomed to.
We will have after hours equine emergency services available 50% of the week and appointment availability four days per week and some Saturdays. On days where we do not have emergency availability we will be referring to other local emergency practices for equine care. Thank you all for your understanding and patience during this transition period.

We had the pleasure of working with City of Turlock - Turlock Animal Services to perform some spays and neuters for some newly adopted pets. We are so excited for these fur-babies to go to their new homes!

Here’s a little behind the scenes of our hospital, let’s show you around.
Starting off in our lobby/waiting area, then we move over to our exam rooms. From there we walk back to our treatment area, surgery suite and hospitalized patient ward, and we end up in our doctor’s office

Always a treat to see Ammo and his family!

Ammo had an appointment at Taylor ER Veterinary Emergency Hospital and met Dr. Kopitzke for the first time. He fell in love with her, and she said he is the sweetest boy. 😊 Dr. Kopitzke took the time to answer all our questions and gave great advice. And of course, Ammo couldn’t leave without showing the world that his name was on the whiteboard!
