We’ve been taking saddling slow since comp. Max started out very cinchy and presented us with some pretty impressive bucking bronc impressions. 😂 After body work, supplements to help ease any tummy issues, a PEMF treatment and lots of cinching/uncinching, Maximus has progressed to his first “rider” (not counting Nova the goat). Enjoy!

Max fans - I’m sorry (but not!) to tell you that I am taking him off the market. This awesome boy has stolen my heart (and a few gloves, a bucket, a rope and ALMOST my phone right out of my pocket). He’s staying with me. 🥰💜💜💜💜💜

Max wasn’t phased by the water OR the emu. I didn’t get it on video but he was more into the Emu than it appreciated. Apparently Blu doesn’t like being groomed by a big mustang 😂

Tarps, check. Dogs, check. Loading in the trailer WITH the dog inside - check. 😂 didn’t get the trailer video because I didn’t think he was going to get in with a 100 # Corso waiting for him! I have GOT to stop underestimating this handsome boy!!

I don’t know WHY I didn’t have video going as soon as I showed him the ball!! By the time I started recording he’d already kicked it and then rolled it with his nose. 😃😂💜💜💜

This boy is UNBELIEVABLY chill. I introduced him to the saddle and pad today and after a quick sniff he stood quietly while I saddled him up. He didn’t even flinch when I cinched him up! Of course I did it just snug enough to be secure, not riding tight.

Maximus got some grazing time today and helped another mustang with his anxiety. Max is a goofy baby with opinions about everything. And like any toddler, everything must go in his mouth! 🤣
