Rudy is an 11-year-old cat available for adoption through PALS No-Kill Shelter in Winthrop. He was surrendered by his owner and is looking for his retirement home.

This handsome boy says he overheard Dr. Miller says he was “a beast” and boy is he proud of himself! Who wants to burst his bubble and tell him she said OBESE?!?!?

In all seriousness he is down to 14.81 lbs from 17.19 two years ago so we will take that as a win🥇

Bennett, who finishes everyone else’s plate is a chunky 10.47 lbs 🚫overweight. But damn he is cute!!!

Please be sure to bring your kitties in for regular veterinary check ups, even if they are indoor only. So much can be treated if caught early enough ❤️‍🩹

I told Bennett that he and Butternut Squash were going to visit Dr. Miller and Carrie at PALS Low-Cost Feline Veterinary Service tomorrow 😹😹😹😹

The shop will be closing at 1:00 Wednesday so the boys can get their check-ups! Butternut Squash is going to have to get on that scale 😬 Hope he doesn’t break it😹😹😹😹

Friends…. Our friends PALS No-Kill Cat Shelter could use a helping paw ❤️‍🩹

The cats and kittens are asking our wonderful community for some help with donations today! We currently have over 100 cats and kittens in the shelter right now and we are running very low on wet cat and kitten food! Every can is helpful and no donation is too small!
You can stop by with donations 7 days a week for 8a-2p and ring the door bell!
Things we are in need of: cat and kitten dry and canned food (no Kit and Kaboodle Please—it makes our kitties sick!), Pelleted litter, Aluminum disposable trays, paper towels, p*e pads and any amount of monetary donations are always helpful too!!

Thanks to your incredible generosity, we have donated $631.11 to date to community organizations through our Catnip For Community Grants!🎉🥳🙌

Our staff met and decided that the February and March Grant recipient will be Turner Food Pantry. You may have noticed they were our very first recipient. Due to the rising cost of food supplies and elimination of a large monthly egg donation to the pantry after the closure of our local egg farm, we felt this grant would be most appreciated by the many families that utilize this resource.
