This is so important, as we continue to grow, for the wellbeing of our animal ambassadors.
PLEASE READ.

Hello! My name is Dr. Joseph Buzzell, also known as Dr. Zell, of Stoneledge Animal
Hospital. I am the new board member and veterinary consultant for the education center
and resident animal ambassadors you all know and love. I am very excited to be
beginning this new adventure in providing medical care and husbandry upgrades to our
current and future ambassadors scaled, feathered, and slimy.
A little about me. I am a small animal veterinarian that has a special interest in exotics
medicine and practice out of Westbrook, ME. My roots hold about 15 years in the reptile
hobby paired with an education from the Atlantic Veterinary College in Prince Edward
Island where I spent my time in the employment of the Zoo, Exotics, and Wildlife
department seeing anything from rabbits, lizards, and tortoises all the way to bald
eagles, and foxes. I now bring these years of experience to Mr. Drew’s in pursuit to
further the health of residents so they can continue their mission of education.
What you can expect from me. From time to time you may see me roaming the
enclosures, doing weight checks and physical exams of our animals, and soon to be
established, a low-cost clinic for the public (details to come at a later date). If you are
visiting the center and see me and the team bopping around, please feel free to say hi.

As a personal plug, if your dog, cat, or exotic pet needs a veterinarian, Stoneledge
Animal Hospital is open to new clients for general health, husbandry, and senior care!
