Does everyone remember our wonderful friend Charlotte? She is the young lady who donated her collected funds from her Lemonade Stand and inspired a matching donation drive. The matching donations totaled $468.57!!
Today Charlotte was invited to the Franklin County's Sheriff's Office, where she was presented with a few gifts to show our appreciation.

Thank you to everyone who matched Charlottes donation and raised these funds for the Shelter!! We appreciate all of your support!

UPDATE: Adopted

Meet Teddy Bear! He is a 4 year old, sweet, loving Pomeranian mix who has lots to say. He is friendly with other dogs. He loves to be around people and go for hikes. He knows basic commands and walks well on a leash.

Just a friendly reminder to make sure your pets Rabies vaccines are up to date and that you license your dogs with your town.
Dogs need to be licensed yearly with your town, they will need to see a current Rabies Certificate in order to issue the License. Most towns require dogs be licensed by March 31st to avoid late fee's.

Do you know this cat? They where found in Shelburne in the area of Gould's Sugar house after they broke into a residents basement several days ago. During this time, the resident has canvassed his neighbors and no one knows this cat. Due to the current weather and the resident not being able to continue to house the cat the cat was turned over to FCSO Animal Control today as a stray. The cat is NOT microchipped.

This cat has been transferred to the Dakin Humane Society in Springfield as we do not have cat holding facilities. If you recognize this cat, please contact them at 413-781-4000

Of note, this cat may have been a subject of a Trap Neuter/Release program as it appears one of his ear tips has been notched which is common in Feral TNR.

Anyone wishing to speak with Animal Control can contact them directly via phone or email:
