The girls have been enjoying the warm sunshine the past couple of days, especially Sugar. βοΈπΎ
Cocoa even got to practice some of her commands and tricks while playing her favorite game, fetch, with her favorite ball! β€οΈ

Buck's Lesson
Buck had his 3rd drop-off lesson with us and is doing great!
In the video, you will see Buck practicing his automatic sits, "Heel", "Down", "Stay", "Come", and "Place". It was also his first day transitioning from the slip lead to the prong collar. Oh, and he also wanted to show me that he could do "Shake". β€π
If you are interested in enrolling your dog into training or have questions, contact 205-650-2873! We also have group classes for ages 8 weeks and up starting in January that you will not want to miss out on!
Sunday enjoyed being outside, training with her mom yesterday!
We worked Sunday outside to get her ready for her first field trip next week. This is so that we can make sure Sunday and her owner are ready and confident in themselves and in their training before going to a different environment to practice.
For more information about training, contact 205-650-2873 as we would be happy to chat with you!
Buddy learning to stay within the heeling bubble in a high distraction environment! Sugar even tagged along to add to the distractions. It was such a pretty day for a walk, and the pups definitely enjoyed it!
Sunday had her first lesson on the prong collar yesterday!
We transitioned from using the slip lead to the prong collar. It was an adjustment for her at first. However, she learned what the purpose of the prong collar was, and that it wasn't anything scary.
Sunday has been doing great in training and is such a smart, sweet pup! We are excited to be a part of her training journey! β€
Pip is here to brighten your morning with her beautiful smiles!! πβ€
Buddy was enjoying the beautiful weather this morning!! βοΈ
Lily is ready for the weekend!! π€©
Khloe did great last week on the tab!
Khloe's owner has learned how to use the remote β
Khloe's owner has learned when & how to correct Khloe using the remote β
Khloe understands the e-collar β
Khloe is listening from a distance indoors β
β¨ Now Khloe's last step is to practice outside with all the distractions. We will start with a long lead first for safety and then work our way to using a tab.
We are so happy with Khloe's progress and can't wait for her to be able to have the freedom the e-collar will allow her to have! β€πΎ
Rip had his 2nd session with us today and is doing so well! β€οΈπΎ
Rip transitioned from the slip lead to the prong collar and is practicing the commands Sit, Down, Stay, Come, and Heel. In the video, you will not hear me say many commands except "Stay" and "Heel". This is because he needs to know the behavior we want first before we can start pairing any commands.

It's PB time! These three absolutely loved their frozen treats! π¦ππΎ
Khloe's first time on the tab! She still has some progress to be made but has shown major impprovement since she has been in training with us! π€©
Fun training information: The tab is a short lead (has various lengths for all size dogs) that some trainers use when transitioning from long leads to the dog having more off-leash freedom. It is so that you do not have a leash in your hand, but it is there for if you need to grab your dog since he/she is still learning off-leash obedience. It's an in between step from long leads to complete off-leash control.

River on her field trip to the park to practice her obedience outside and around distractions!
Charlie had so much on his outing to the park today! π π€©
Tiny, one of our boarders, had the zoomies after lunch today!
Sadie, Luna, and Tiny loved their puzzle time this morning as an add-on to their boarding stay! π
Each one of them had a different response to doing the puzzles. Sadie was excited but calm, Luna was cautious at first and took her time, and Tiny was so excited that she could not pick which puzzle she wanted to do. π
Remember Tae?
She is doing so well with her owner! We still have some progress to be made, but she has come so far! β€οΈ
β¨ In the video, you will see Tae practicing her commands with her owner. She heels next to her owner, stops and sits when her owner stops, lays down with pressure, stays while in a down position, and is learning to place.
πΎ Introducing Rip πΎ
Rip is a 2 year old Great Dane and will be going through our on-leash obedience program. He will be working on his obedience (especially impulse control) and learning to not pull on the leash!
In the video, you will see Rip learning to heel next to me when I step with my left foot, to stop and sit when I stop. and to stay when I step with my right foot. This was his first lesson with us, and he did great!
We are so excited to have Rip and are looking forward to seeing his progress! π€©
