Well, our baby girl decided to come early and is in the nicu where she will stay until she is close to being full term. I am on maternity leave for the unforseeable future, but I will contact current clients and post here when I start to offer training lessons again. 🎉🎓 We have a graduate!!! 🎓🎉

Doc graduated from our on-leash basic obedience program last week! He did a field trip to TJ Maxx and HomeGoods before officially graduating. He did so good practicing what he has learned out in public and even waited so patiently in the checkout lane! 🐾

Congratulations to Doc and his family on this achievement!! It was such a pleasure to be able to help Doc and his family achieve their goals! ❤️

🐾 Introducing Doc 🐾

Doc is a handsome Blue Heeler and is so smart! He will be doing his field trip/ graduation next week. 🎓 (I have been behind on posting). He has been going through our on-leash obedience program to help grow his relationship with his owner and to hopefully continue with our off-leash program!

We have been so excited to have Doc and his owner in our program, and we have enjoyed seeing his progress!

Doc even did so good practicing outside at his last lesson when his neighborhood friend came to play with him. ❤️

We took a little break from social media, but we are back!

I wanted to share a few pictures of Sugar from a family event to show the benefits of having a well behaved pup and the importance of a strong relationship between you and your pup. I always say it isn't just about teaching your dog commands but also about repairing or building your relationship/communication with your pup! Which can make a world of a difference. Sugar got so many compliments on how well behaved she is. It made me so happy to hear that, but I want to let other people know that this could be your pup too! Some people say oh my dog could never....but how do you know that? Your dog is a lot more capable and smarter than you think. 🐾❤️

We love getting updates on our graduates!! It makes me so happy seeing how the owner's relationship with their pup has changed and how the pups have more freedom and privileges since they have those structures and boundaries they were taught to rely on! ❤️🐾

✨️ Tae (the black lab) came to us reactive towards men, other vocal dogs, people coming into her home, and was nervous in certain situations. She wanted to cling to her mom's side and had very little confidence. Tae's mom tagged me in this photo of Tae at the vet doing a down-stay beside her (not being clingy!) while patiently waiting for the vet! Tae's mom has also sent me other updates saying that Tae has been doing so much better with everything and isn't always on guard like she was before!

✨️ River came to us for obedience training to help reign in some of her crazy energy for various reasons and to teach her off-leash training. River's mom commented on one of our previous Facebook posts giving us an update. I'm so glad River listened to her mom and came right back to her! That shows the importance of training and a good recall!

Stella, Shadow, Cocoa, and Sugar practicing their threshold manners! ❤️🐾

They have learned that to be able to go through a door they first have to sit and wait. When their name is called, then they can come through the doorway. This has many benefits! One benefit is that your dog will learn to not rush through any open doorway which can prevent them from getting lost or getting hurt.

🐾 Introducing Biscuit 🐾

Biscuit is a handsome mix and his "siblings", Flash and Iris, graduated from our training program last year. He also started his training with us last year, but due to certain circumstances he was not able to complete his training. Now, he will be going through our on-leash obedience program to finish his obedience training and to help grow his relationship with his owner!

We are so excited to have Biscuit and his owner in our program again, and we cannot wait to see his progress!

🚨 ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

Sit, Stay, Train is moving out of the building located at 16096 Highway 216, and we will no longer be there as of March 1st. With that being said, we will no longer be offering group classes, facility private lessons, board and trains, and boarding. This move is so bittersweet as we have made lots of memories and have met so many new furry friends. God opened the door for this opportunity which I am very grateful for, and I know He will continue to bless us! ❤️

‼️ We will still be offering in home private lessons so stay tuned for the new prices!! We absolutely love being able to help pups and their owners with training so we will still be around and would love to help train your pups! We will still offer on-leash obedience, off-leash obedience, and certain behavior modifications, just in the comfort of your own home. 😊 We will have the same contact information. Buck's Lesson

Buck had his 3rd drop-off lesson with us and is doing great! In the video, you will see Buck practicing his automatic sits, "Heel", "Down", "Stay", "Come", and "Place". It was also his first day transitioning from the slip lead to the prong collar. Oh, and he also wanted to show me that he could do "Shake". ❤😅 If you are interested in enrolling your dog into training or have questions, contact 205-650-2873! We also have group classes for ages 8 weeks and up starting in January that you will not want to miss out on!

Sunday enjoyed being outside, training with her mom yesterday! We worked Sunday outside to get her ready for her first field trip next week. This is so that we can make sure Sunday and her owner are ready and confident in themselves and in their training before going to a different environment to practice. Buddy learning to stay within the heeling bubble in a high distraction environment! Sugar even tagged along to add to the distractions. It was such a pretty day for a walk, and the pups definitely enjoyed it!

Sunday had her first lesson on the prong collar yesterday! We transitioned from using the slip lead to the prong collar. It was an adjustment for her at first. However, she learned what the purpose of the prong collar was, and that it wasn't anything scary. Sunday has been doing great in training and is such a smart, sweet pup! We are excited to be a part of her training journey! ❤

Khloe did great last week on the tab! Khloe's owner has learned how to use the remote ✅ Khloe's owner has learned when & how to correct Khloe using the remote ✅ Khloe understands the e-collar ✅ Khloe is listening from a distance indoors ✅ ✨ Now Khloe's last step is to practice outside with all the distractions. We will start with a long lead first for safety and then work our way to using a tab. We are so happy with Khloe's progress and can't wait for her to be able to have the freedom the e-collar will allow her to have! ❤🐾

Rip had his 2nd session with us today and is doing so well! ❤️🐾 Rip transitioned from the slip lead to the prong collar and is practicing the commands Sit, Down, Stay, Come, and Heel. In the video, you will not hear me say many commands except "Stay" and "Heel". This is because he needs to know the behavior we want first before we can start pairing any commands.
