Here's a video from one of Marley's lessons from a couple of weeks ago. In the video, you will see him doing the commands heel, sit, down, and stay while on leash and prong collar. At this point, we were finishing up learning the command, down.

I have another update on Marley that I will post later this week. He is doing so good though and has come a long ways! 🐾❤️

🎉🎓 We have a graduate!!! 🎓🎉

Duke graduated from our on-leash basic obedience program last week! We did his final lesson in his new home, and he did great! We worked on all his on-leash commands plus the command leave it. We also practiced him staying on his placemat while his parents are eating at the table to prevent him from begging. 🐾

Congratulations to Duke and his family!! It was such a pleasure to be able to help Duke, and I wish them the best! ❤️

Here is a video of Doc during his off-leash training.

Doc was to the point to where he was completely off the leash inside! In the video, you will see him demonstrating the commands heel, down, come and place!

Doc is doing great and has since moved in to training outside!

Duke enjoyed his walk outside during his lesson! ☀️

We worked on not pulling on the leash, no barking at or chasing cars, and to not eat or pick up things off the ground (rocks and sweet gum balls). We also worked on his other commands (sit, down, and stay). Duke did great and is improving with each lesson!

One of our clients, Iris-a Sit, Stay, Train graduate, decided she didn't want to listen to her owner when she was outside, specifically coming when called. I was there training another one of the owner's dogs and decided to try something with Iris while I was there. We started working outside, and she didn't want to at first. The longer we practiced outside, she started to get better and started to listen. I got this text the next day from her owner and it warmed my heart! I love knowing that what I do can make a difference for the owner, the dog, and the relationship/bond they have!

It also goes to show that once your dog is trained or has graduated from a training program, the training still continues!! It is up to you, the owner, to keep up with your pup's training!

🐾 Introducing Thor 🐾

Thor is a loving and energetic 1 year old pit. He has already started our on-leash obedience program, and his goals are to have a strong recall, to help manage/redirect his high energy, as well as learn leash manners.

We are excited to have Thor and his owners in our program, and we cannot wait to continue to see his progress!

Marley is a sweet 6 year old rescue! Fun fact: he is also a tripod! Marley is enrolled in our on-leash obedience program, and his goals are to learn leash manners and boundaries before a new member to the family is added!

🐾 Introducing Duke 🐾

Duke is a handsome 9 month old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. He has already started our on-leash obedience program, and his goal is to learn leash manners and boundaries!

✨ Introducing Jupiter and Doc ✨️

️This duo hardly needs an introduction as both have gone through our on-leash training program. Jupiter, a 3 year old rescue, graduated in 2023 and Doc, a 1 year old blue heeler, graduated last year right before I took my maternity leave. They both were such a pleasure to teach so I was excited when they enrolled in our off-leash training program!

I cannot wait to see their progress and for them to be given the freedoms off-leash training has to offer.

I have been behind on posting, but I want to introduce to you our new client, Stacy!

🐾 Introducing Stacy 🐾

Stacy is an adorable, sweet 5 month old golden retriever mix rescue. ❤ She is going through our on-leash obedience program to learn some manners and to help with puppy nipping!

Stacy is already doing fabulous! During her last lesson, her fur sibling wanted to test her and try to distract her. Stacy did so good by remaining calm and focusing on her training. 🐈🐕

We are excited to have Stacy and her owner in our program, and we cannot wait to continue to see her progress!

✨️ 2024 Recap ✨️

January to August:

15 pups in training, including our first group class! I have pictures for 14 out of the 15 pups.

9 pups graduated on-leash training!

For January and February, we had 1 pup who boarded with us for the first time, and we had a total of 7 boarding reservations!*

*We are still not offering boarding at this time.

I am so grateful for the support of past and current clients as I would not be here offering lessons without you! 2024 definitely had some unexpected twists, but God was faithful through it all! I cannot wait to see what 2025 has to offer, and I am looking forward to meeting all the new furry friends! ❤️🐾

‼️ Exciting news ‼️

Now that I have recovered and our baby is home and settled in, I will be back to scheduling training lessons at the start of the new year! If we were in the middle of training lessons or you reached out to me about starting lessons, I will be contacting you soon about scheduling! If I do not contact you by mid January, please reach out to me again as it's been a crazy past few months, and I probably just lost your contact information. Well, our baby girl decided to come early and is in the nicu where she will stay until she is close to being full term. I am on maternity leave for the unforseeable future, but I will contact current clients and post here when I start to offer training lessons again. 🎉🎓 We have a graduate!!! 🎓🎉

Doc graduated from our on-leash basic obedience program last week! He did a field trip to TJ Maxx and HomeGoods before officially graduating. He did so good practicing what he has learned out in public and even waited so patiently in the checkout lane! 🐾

Congratulations to Doc and his family on this achievement!! It was such a pleasure to be able to help Doc and his family achieve their goals! ❤️

Buck's Lesson

Buck had his 3rd drop-off lesson with us and is doing great! In the video, you will see Buck practicing his automatic sits, "Heel", "Down", "Stay", "Come", and "Place". It was also his first day transitioning from the slip lead to the prong collar.
