EVERY DAY we have to turn away pups in need due to a shortage of fosters. Please consider opening your heart and home to a pup (or 2) in need. CCF covers all expenses and provides all supplies. Woodstock (or Woody as we like to call him) is 5 months old. Despite being overlooked because of his Pittie-Mix DNA, Woodstock is all heart, a lover not a fighter. Initially shy, he soon reveals a heart full of love and a gentle, protective nature making him an excellent big brother to smaller dogs and kiddos too!

Woodstock adores belly rubs, treats, and playing with his collection of squeaky toys. He's great at making friends both human and canine, though cats remain a curiosity to him. He’s not overly energetic, perfectly balancing his playtime with cuddles and naps—just what you’d expect from such a sweet pup who’s still just a baby!

🐕 Love is right there in front of you in black and white! Woodstock is waiting to show you just how big his heart is. Let’s not let this lover boy be overlooked any longer!! Please consider opening your home to this precious boy and experience the joy of unconditional love only a rescue dog can give. 🐶💖

Foster or Forever Home Needed for Shadow

Shadow is a an almost 5 months old Australian Shepherd/Labradoodle mix.

He's a playful and energetic puppy with a fun-loving spirit that lights up any room! This friendly furball is a true social butterfly, getting along famously with dogs, cats, and kids alike. Shadow loves his toys and comes with a repertoire of tricks, but he's always eager to learn more and delights in impressing his human friends.

He needs to be moved immediately from his foster home on Fetterly Farm where he has a penchant for getting out and chasing the chickens. If you have space to foster Shadow, please comment below.

🐾🌿 Foster or Forever Home Needed for Woodstock 🌿🐾

If you have a heart for rescue, we have a sweet boy who needs you. Meet Woodstock, a gorgeous black and white Terrier/Labrador mix, found wandering in the woods of Tuscaloosa County, Alabama, with his brother Snoopy. Thanks to the heroic efforts of Cindy Fetterly and her daughter Lindsey Fetterly Bright, these two were safely trapped and rescued.

While Snoopy has already left for a foster home where he will receive intensive love and training, Woodstock is still dreaming of finding a human to share his journey, be it for a few weeks or a lifetime. He’s a sweet boy but a little frightened in his new situation, longing for the same affection and guidance his brother is now getting.

🎉🐾 Celebrating Four Adoptions! 🐶💕

Today, our hearts are bursting with joy as Reggie and Raven, two incredible pups born in rescue, have found their forever families after over a year in foster care! Their dreams of a loving home have finally come true, and we couldn't be happier to see them embark on this new journey! 🌟

Joining in the celebration is Piper, a resilient stray who patiently waited for the perfect match for a whole year. Today, she hit the jackpot and found her happily-ever-after! 🏡✨

Last but certainly not least, little Ben, who faced adversity when he and his brother Jerry were discarded like trash, has been embraced by a loving family where he will be cherished forever. 🌈🐾

🎉 Happy News Alert! 🐾 Today marks the beginning of beautiful new chapters for 7 of our cherished pups as they embark on life with their forever families. Captured moments from their pickup locations in MD, PA, CT, and RI are a testament to the joy we're feeling. Sending all our love and best wishes to Aspen, Birch, Rowan, Willow, Ash, Nyla, and Mia for a life filled with happiness and adventure!

We're overflowing with gratitude for everyone who played a part in their journey. These two precious puppies were found at the side of the road, a sight both heartbreaking and all too common in Alabama. Severely malnourished, the pups have begun their journey to healing under the care of CCF and our foster super mom, Cindy Fetterly. While their beginnings were marked by abandonment and neglect, we see a hopeful future ahead. They might be tiny (chiweenies we think, only time will tell!), but their spirits are mighty. Ben and Jerry will be ready to find their forever homes in just 4-6 weeks. Welcome to the CCF family, little ones. You're safe and loved now. 💕

Marcy's ideal kingdom? A calm and predictable realm where HRH Marcy can reign supreme with a single "lady-in-waiting" attending to her needs. Two of our pups from the 'Tree Litter' have found their forever homes, and it was love at first sight at PetSmart in Warwick, RI! 🏠💖 We are overflowing with gratitude for their amazing adopters, our foster extraordinaire Cindy Fetterly, the incredibly talented photographer Emily Covington of Wags to Riches Photography, our dedicated veterinary team at Compassion Pet Care, our reliable transport driver LT Hester, and everyone else who played a part in their journey home. 🚗💕 It truly takes a village to save ONE dog, and today, we're reminded of the power of community and compassion. Thank you to all who helped turn a new leaf for these pups! 🍃🐕

This adorable little fella needs a foster (within a 60 mile radius of Tuscaloosa, AL) to provide tlc for a couple of months while he goes through heartworm treatment. Scout was recently neutered so that should help curb his desire to roam, but he does possess outstanding fence climbing skills. So, even if you have a fenced yard, Scout cannot be let out unsupervised. He is a super snuggler, preferring a lap to being outside anyway. Scout gets along well with other pups.
