Jasmine Marie Sandlin

Jasmine Marie Sandlin Hi! I’m Jasmine and I think adoption is the only option! I got me furever home December 11, 2011! My name is Jasmine or Jazzer Doodle. Then Ms. Don’t shop! Adopt!

I was found wandering alone and lost in the middle of a field. Many had seen me there, and simply kept driving. Then one magical day, my angel finally arrived! I was in such pitiful shape I was rushed immediately to the emergency room. After the doctor examined me, I was told I was not only very obviously emaciated, but I was also severely dehydrated and my hairs were so matted together my skin ha

d become infected. On top of it all, I had a dislocated hip that had been out of place so long my muscle deteriorated to less than half the size it once was. I am one of the lucky ones, for a couple surgeries and many months later, here I am today. I don’t really remember much from before my field days, and my angels say it’s best that way. I am still very fearful of men though. My angels Tony and Dianne saved me in the field that day; if not for them, I would have died. My foster mommy, Tai, nursed me back to health for over a year. Cathy from Peace, Love, and Animals near Huntsville, AL brought me to mommy’s house to visit her and see if we were a match. The rest is a fairytale! My mommy loves me with her whole heart, which is exactly what Ms. Tai said would happen since I was such a good girl. I still have a few reminders of my previous life. I have urinary crystals so I have to eat special doggy kibbles for the rest of my life. I have to be able to go #1 24 hours a day so my urinary crystals will not form bladder stones. I also have to have fresh water at all times to help with my crystals. I had seizures for a long time until Dr. Harris put me on medication. I LOVE pill time because I get turkey, cheese, ham, or peanut butter with my pills! I never let mommy forget to give me my pills :-D

I may be adopted, but my mommy says I am the bestest, best thing that has ever happened to her.

I miss her more with each passing day.
