We desperately need volunteers to come and walk our dogs!

Some of them are starting to seem a little down lately and could use lots of fresh air!

We have kennel runs outside that you can take them out to and spend time with them. We also have toys that can go out with them 🙂

We could also use volunteers to help bathe pups/dogs and make them feel better and be more presentable!

Volunteers are needed to help tidy up outside kennel runs and put straw in dog houses.

If you’d like to volunteer please come by 11-3 tomorrow!

Must be 12 years of age with an adult and 16+ without an adult

Dog walkers can come earlier. We start cleaning at 8am and a 10-15 minute walk allows us to clean and sanitize their kennel while they are out 🙂

What an amazing day it was!! 🤗

We did our drawing for the Valentine’s Day fundraiser! Congratulations Brittany Homcha!! 🎉🥳🎉🥳

We got lots of puppy milk donated for sweet little KoKoum! He enjoyed a fresh bottle, a little wet food, got a bath when we got home and now he is sleeping peacefully with his new foster sister! 🍼🧼🫧💤😴

12 more lives were saved today!! Thank you Sarah Hill for helping us out once again!! Together we were able to send 12 puppies to rescue! Mama was spayed and went home! 🛟

With the puppies leaving, it left us room to also save 4 more small lives!! We had a kennel open for 4 lab mix puppies that had been dropped!! They are available for foster through stray hold and then can be adopted!

We want all of you to know how much we truly appreciate each one of you! Your support keeps us going daily!

Good morning! TGIF!!! But the work doesn’t stop here at the shelter just because it’s Friday!!

This is baby Kokoum. He is our little bottle baby that has come in! Kokoum is a growing boy and has ran through all of the puppy milk we have at the shelter!

If you’d like to donate some milk for him and any little friends that may come in, we would greatly appreciate it!

We are also out of kitten milk replacement and kitten season is quickly approaching!

Everyone meet Shelley Shepherd!!

Shelley is around 1 year old (give or take a little)

She is the absolute best girl!!

Shelley loves kids and adults! She is fantastic on a leash and somewhat clean in her kennel when taken out regularly! We believe housetraining won’t be a huge task for her!

Shelley has been dog friendly at the shelter but hasn’t been tested with cats.

Shelley is available for adoption for only $50!! This includes her mandatory spay, rabies vaccine and current vaccinations and flea/tick/heartworm/parasite prevention!

Everyone meet the calmest and sweetest boy around, Red Runner!!

Red Runner “Red” is a shorter boy! He is such a snuggle bug!

When he was brought in, he sat in the lap
Of the kennel manager for 30 minutes, just soaking up the love!

His finders were going to keep him but he kept running off and getting into mischief with livestock! A farm probably won’t be the best fit for this guy!

A single dog home might also be a great fit for Red!

Red loves all people, age is not a problem!

Need calm? It’s him! ✅

Need a snuggle buddy for V-day?! Ya found it! ✅

Need a pet for any age? Here he is!!! ✅

This boy is not dirty in his kennel and goes outside on a leash with ease!

This boy is Gasque!

Gasque is a little over 1 year old! He LOVES everyone!

He wants to give gentle hugs all the time! 🤗🥰

If you need a lap dog, he sure wants to be one!! His bandana reads the truth! He LOVES his shelter mom but is very eager and willing to meet his forever family! 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒

Gasque has been great with both dogs AND our office cat! 🐈‍⬛🦮

He is available for adoption for only $50!! This includes his mandatory neuter, rabies vaccine and current vaccinations and flea/tick/heartworm/parasite prevention!

Meet little miss Ophelia “Fifi”

Ophelia came to us as a stray. She has mammary tumors caused from the overbreeding and constant litters! 😭😭😭

She has had surgery to remove a lump in her bladder also!

This has not slowed this girl down! She has been in a foster home with other dogs and cats/kittens! She even shared her food bowl with the cats! 🐈‍⬛🐾

She is such a loving and affectionate girl! She loves kids and adults! She walks very well on a leash! 🐕‍🦺🦮

Ophelia is available for adoption for $50! This girl needs a soft place to lay her head at night and a family to wake up to every day! 🏡

She is more than deserving of everything good in life! 🥰

Her fee covers her mandatory spay, rabies vaccine and current vaccinations and flea/tick/heartworm/parasite prevention!

Meet Colby Jack!

CJ is about 1.5-2 years old! He is the sweetest and most playful boy!

He has the most beautiful, soul piercing eyes! His coat is very soft! 👀👀

As far as we have seen, he loves everyone! Kids and adults alike! 🤗🤗

He would probably be best suited with kids since he has shown his playful side!

CJ isn’t very messy in his kennel!

We haven’t tested him with dogs but we will be doing that tomorrow!
