Our thought and prayers are with our friends at Shoals Animal Clinic ♥️

It is with heavy hearts that we pass along the news of the passing of Dr. John Lowery, the much-loved veterinarian and former owner of Shoals Animal Hospital. Although it's been nearly 16 years since he donned his crisp white coat and entered our exam rooms, every day we are grateful for the wonderful clinic and pet owners he nurtured and served for over 40 years before his retirement. He is often remembered for his no-nonsense approach with pet-owners and the witty wisdom he shared freely with clients, friends, and employees. He learned most of his life lessons the hard way, never hesitating to be the first one to try something new. What an amazing life he led, and we were fortunate to have the chance to benefit from that. ♥️💗 Valentine's Day can be dangerous for our fur babies, as Darby's experience shows. Her innocent face hides her mischief in climbing to great heights to retrieve two large bags of mini M&M's, which made her sick. Fortunately, after induced vomiting and anti-nausea medication, she's on the mend. This Valentine's Day, be sure to keep chocolates and treats out of reach. ♥️💗
