Ginger was not happy to be here, but she helped me select some Blendables by for a special client. We ended up being friends and she let me hold her. Notice her sheep sweater! I almost put her in the window with the other sheep!😅

Swipe to go back in time to the before of this shower! Another special project for a lifelong friend and neighbor. We left her recently completed floor and carefully removed the old shower and created a simple, clean design.
The shower walls are 6x18 Heron White, the shower floor is a recycled glass hexagon with a subtle wood pattern.

Great to see this is being done right!

⛲️ We have a plaza fountain update!

Restoration work will start the week of Oct. 30 on the historic fountain, which will include:

🍊 Cleaning of the existing tile and grout.
🍊 Fabrication of custom-made color-matched glazed tiles.
🍊 Installation of the new tiles (by the grandson of Charles McCandless, who originally tiled the fountain in 1937).
🍊 Repairs to the fountain basin and lining.
🍊 Surface preparation and recoating of the historic fountain and pedestal.

Because Olde Town Orange contains the largest Nationally Registered Historic District in California, work performed on the Plaza fountain must meet the Secretary of Interior’s Standards for Historic Rehabilitation.

Perimeter fencing and the protective wind screens will remain around the fountain until the project is completed. It’s anticipated the work will take 6 to 8 weeks. We appreciate your patience during this time!

Great update to this bathroom floor. Scroll to see the original 4x4 porcelain tiles that we carefully removed, keeping the original shower and tub tiles intact.

This sweet cat gave birth to 5 kittens under our back stairs. She has a red collar with a jingle bell. Please share so we can reunite her and her babies with her family.
