Hello everyone, we would like to update you on all the fun things going on in the last month:
*We will start with our 3rd Annual "Barks-Giving" event, presented by 29 Palms Animal Friends and Sponsored by Navy Fed Credit Union -- Dick's Tire and L**e Car Club & Eli Marshall. This event started 3 years ago for thanksgiving to ensure every animal in the shelter during thanksgiving receives a nice hot homemade cooked dinner (No Animals Left Behind).
*We had a great time @ Ace Hardware for their "Thanks-Grilling event" & mural unveil, we were able to adopt out 9 Animals during the 2-hour event.
*We also had a couple trips with dogs to 29 Palms Yoga, for their sound bath events with success.
*Our volunteers have taken dogs up to Pioneer Town to The Red-Dog Saloon for bingo nights & getting great exposure.
*We had 2 full day Spay-Neuter Events with Animal Action League resulting in 71 animals being fixed.
*We are currently holding our 12th "Jingle-Paws Food Drive" and getting lots of donations and bringing awareness to the homeless animals of our community.
*San Deigo Humane Society pulled 8 cats and 3 dogs on 12-19-24 to rescue to help us out for our Holiday Closures and crowdedness.

We would like to send a huge thank you to ALL of our volunteers who give so much of their time to our animals, keeping them happy, playful, exercised and adoptable.

Hello everyone, we would like you to meet Cali. Cali was surrendered here several weeks ago and is now in search of her FOREVER home. We have Cali down as a 2-year-old female Pitbull / Catahoula Leopard dog mix who is not YET spayed.
Cali is a dog that's full of life and brimming with energy. This adult dog is a bundle of joy, always ready to play and engage in a game of tug of war with her strength. She's got a goofy side that never fails to bring a smile to everyone's face. But don't let her playful nature fool you, Cali is also brave and fearless, always ready to explore new places and meet new people. She's friendly, welcoming everyone with her energetic spirit. Adopting Cali would mean adding a vibrant, fun-loving, and courageous member to your family.

Hello everyone, we would like you to meet Starfire and Venus. They were both owner surrendered together and seem to be brother and sister as they look very alike. Starfire is shown first and is a bit smaller than her brother (shown second.)

Starfire is a domestic shorthair estimated to be about a year and a half old, female who IS NOT yet spayed.
Meet Starfire, a charming feline with a personality that shines as bright as her name. This adult cat has a heart full of sweetness and a spirit brimming with playfulness. Hello everyone, we would like you to meet Chives (gray and white tabby) and Zozo (brown tabby.) Both of these cats were brought in to us last week as strays and with nobody coming forward to reclaim, they are now looking for their forever home!

Chives is a domestic shorthair gray and white tabby, estimated to be about a year old, female who IS NOT spayed yet.
Meet Chives, a sweet and friendly feline who has mastered the art of companionship. Her mellow demeanor and gentle nature make her the perfect addition to any home. With a heart full of love, Chives is incredibly loyal, always there to offer a comforting purr or a soft nuzzle. Hello everyone, we would like you to meet Kobi (tuxedo) and Cobo (black with small white patch.) Both of these handsome boys were brought in several weeks ago and have been looking for their forever home!

Kobi is a Domestic Shorthair Tuxedo estimated to be about 3 years old, male who is ALREADY neutered.

Hello everyone, we would love you to meet Panda. Panda was left in our holding pens last month with a pretty gnarly tear on her back right leg that already appeared infected. We were able to get her in the very next morning to the VCA to begin treatment. We are only able to do this using our amazing Courage Fund. Thanks to the generosity of so many SUPPORTIVE residents this was made possible for Panda. Panda was able to get the surgery she needed and is now ready to put her injury behind her and move on the next stage of her life. We have Panda down as a 2-year-old female Pit mix who is going to be spayed December 16th. Panda is a clever, adult dog with a heart full of loyalty. She has a knack for solving puzzles, especially if a treat is the reward. Her intelligence is matched only by her friendliness. She loves nothing more than a good belly rub. Panda is protective too, always alert and ready to bark at unfamiliar faces, ensuring her human's safety. However, beneath her vigilant exterior lies a true sweetheart who's eager to form a strong bond. Adopting Panda means gaining not just a pet, but a loyal friend, a vigilant guardian, and a loving family member. Please come see Panda and some of our other amazing animals today.

Hello everyone, we would like you to meet Baxy and Zumo. These two sweethearts were left in our holding pens several weeks ago and are in search of their FUR-ever homes. The little one is Baxy and the slightly larger one Zumo. They have both received grooms due to some pretty poor matting. We have Baxy down as a 1-year-old male terrier mix and Zumo as a 2-year-old male Shih Tzu mix. We were able to get both of them neutered at our last big Spay and Neuter Day. Baxy is confident and outgoing, always the first to greet new people and explore new environments. He has a zest for life that is contagious, his tail always wagging with excitement. Shy at first, Zumo is a quiet soul, reserved and thoughtful. He's the kind of dog who observes before he acts, the one who thinks before he leaps. Hello everyone, we would like you to meet Sebastian. Sebastian was surrendered to us a few weeks ago and is now in search of his FOREVER home. We have Sebastian down as a 1-and-a-half-year-old male Domestic Short Hair who is ALREADY neutered. The old home was able to tell us that Sebastian gets along well with babies, kids, dogs and other cats. Though their reason for surrendered is Sebastian was apparently spraying in the house. Sebastian is a friendly feline with a heart full of love. His independent nature makes him the perfect companion for those seeking cool pet. Despite his independence, Sebastian is a gentle soul who loves nothing more than a good chin scratch. His favorite pastime is window watching, observing the world go by with a quiet, serene interest. Sebastian's gentle, friendly nature combined with his love for quiet observation makes him an excellent companion for anyone seeking a calm, loving pet. Adoption Prices: Dogs are $123.00 if you live in the city limits, and includes a 1 year City License, and $98.00 if you live outside the city limits. Adoption fee includes:
