*volume alert* I am coaching, sooo kinda loudπ¬π
Laura has been working hard on independent body parts. Today was a HUGE day for her progress!! She says she felt let an octopus because she realized, as she says "I have too many joints in my arms all of a sudden" ππ€£
All of this started with reestablishing proper leg use, and now she is able to ask and help Rodger to use himself. Soon this will be her normal ride and THEN we will get those transitions working πππ
I'm so proud of how hard she works and so proud of how kind this Stallion is. He never holds a grudge with a student and as soon as they ask properly he obliges happily. π¦π¦π¦
For those still reading, yes Rodger passes this disposition and work ethic on to his get.
It has been just over a year since Miss Jessica started back in the saddle post her accident and consequent surgery.
While that seems like a long time, it is shockingly little when recovering from such drastic injuries, surgery and the atrophy that is inevitable.
Today Miss Jessica and Aya Ab Rodger had one of their best rides to date, both feeling strong and supple.
Goals beyond reestablishing equitation are now being set.
Forward is our Friend.
(We are still not offering any training services).
2022 colt Aya Paddy Mac
Incredible opportunity for a competition home looking for a Sport Pony Prospect! We expect him to finish up at 14.1hh (currently 13.3 at the wither and 14 at the top of the butt).
We had planned to use Aya Paddy Mac as part of our program but circumstances are not in our favor.
Paddy is an athletic, kind, and clever representation of the Varian Kontiki combination horses in our program. Mister Mac V x Aya Tiki Kinzi.

Please PM us for details on adding Paddy to your competition program, gelding required.

Herd sire Mister Mac V enjoying some early morning carrots, all that's missing is a cup of tea according to Apprentice Tay πππ¦π
I've been trying to figure out a caption for this all day.... nothing seems to do it justice...
Don't laugh too hard at poor Gunnar, he TOTALLY meant to do that ππ€£ππ¦
Aulso Amplified (AKA Buckie) is an easy going fellow who aims to please!
Ground driving started today ππ¦π
Aya Ab Rodger is such an amazing teacher. We couldn't imagine the ranch without him!!
Today he helped apprentice Laura find inside leg to outside rein.
The best part of Rodger as an instructor is he only does the work when his rider asks correctly, he doesn't do free handouts. BUT he gives them his best when they get it right!
A few nice strides are going to turn into a whole ride soon as Laura gets more consistent πππ
Proud trainer day.
Video edited to hide excited profanities π
Gunnar is beginning his in hand trail work and doing so well so quickly!
Reign of Valor enjoying some dawn shenanigans with her best friend Aya Joye.
Available to New Home or for Breeding Lease: Reign of Valor 15.1hh grey 2006 Mare (Moment of Valor x Reign Dance PW)
"Reigny" is a proven broodmare and saddle horse. She has been hanging out in the back fields teaching the youngsters some manners since Miss Jessica's injury.
Now she is coming back to work and will be available to a new home or to another program as a breed lease, she is also part of Miss Jessica's rehab program back to being saddle fit (this should give a indicator of her disposition).
Reigny is a sport horse rider's DREAM! She is soft and forward, this mare will go through fire once she bonds with her rider.
On the ground Reigny is the kindest soul one could imagine.
As a broodmare Reigny safely (and happily) takes live cover, carries her foals easily, foals out easily and is a fantastic dam teaching manners. Reigny has also raised two orphans, one she nursed while raising her own foal and one she raised while it drank from a bucket. She will definitely be an asset to your program.

Available: Aya Victor Mac wanted to share his ground manners today instead of just his movement.
Despite having been stall bound for the past week Victor came out ready to work today and put a lot of effort into being a good boy.
Folks, don't miss out on this clever, amicable fellow. Stallion or gelding he will be a fantastic addition to a breeding program or a saddle horse.
LAST CHANCE AS A STALLION PROSPECT! Victor Will be gelded come fall if he is not in a new home by then.
Aya Victor Mac (Mister Mac V x Aya Tute) is 3 and is showing his stallion prospect qualities. Easy to work with and just enough spice to remind you he's no couch potato and ready to work, but he happily/naturally conserves his energy.
Sticked at 14.1 and butt high.
Victor is a clever fellow with a great sense of humor. Lovely ground manners, stands tied for grooming and for farrier.
Varian plus Aurab gives this fellow an incredible combination of brains, athleticism, and correct conformation!!!

Today Gunnar had a big one.
First he had his first full Groom and bridle path session at the hitch rail BEFORE playtime.
Then he spent his first full day working with his unicorn horn in plain view.
They grow up so fast ππππ¦π¦π¦πππ
Shout out to Unicorn Corner for this safe plush horn that goes on so easily! We have gotten several years worth of foals out of it so far. After all, they need to wear a practice horn until their natural horn grows in ;)
Bravery, loyalty, athleticism...yup, Gunnar colt keeps showing us every one of these qualities.
After turnout time this morning he happily headed over to visit Mr. Bill while he was moving hay bales with the tractor, and apparently was putting in his lunch order π€£
Gunnar has been "soft weaning" for the past month and every outing is doing more on his own.
He is thoughtful and clever and Miss Jessica is very excited to see him become a future herd sire...she admits she may be biased, but who can blame her?!
Aya Joye decided to be a lesson horse for apprentice Laura today πππ
