We have a confirmed pregnancy! 🎉🍾🎊 We’re so excited we can barely stand it. We are taking a few more deposits for puppies (would love a few more for black puppies). Both parents are from beautiful show lines (health tested well above CHIC standard) and we are expecting medium energy puppies with happy, biddable temperaments.

Iris went into season this week and we will be breeding her next week so we decided now is a good time to start promoting our 2022 litter of puppies! If everything goes to plan they will be due the last week of January. We are so excited to have Fitz from Safari Standard Poodles as the sire. Safari has 50 years of experience breeding outstanding standard poodles. Fitz is absolutely gorgeous, exceptionally sound, and has a happy, friendly temperament. Iris is our pretty, petite girl and she has a mellow, laidback temperament. Both parents have fantastic pedigrees and we think this is going to be a really wonderful litter of puppies. Health testing results for both parents can be found on the OFA website by searching their registered names. Fitz has produced white puppies in past litters so we expect both black and white puppies. We raise our puppies with an ENS protocol and early socialization and give them a solid head start in house training and crate training. We will begin taking deposits when we have confirmed the pregnancy by ultrasound but you can go to our website and fill out an application now. If you’ve already filled out an application you will be notified in an email as soon as we start taking deposits to reserve a puppy. 😊

This gorgeous little girl just came back to us due to unforeseen circumstances with her original buyer. She is sired by AKC GCH Lakeridge Legacy out of AKC CH Lakeridge Nothing Gold Can Stay and was whelped 06/25/2021. She is the sweetest, happiest, smartest girl with an amazing thick coat, potty trained, and well socialized with kids, dogs, and cats. Rachel went to PCA this year as an assistant to professional handler Daniel Chavez. Me (Chelsea) and the furkids watched the livestream from home and cheered on his gorgeous puppy Brianna as she won BOV from the bred-by class. Excited to be there with our own dogs someday soon!

Iris tried out Fast CAT for the first time this weekend and had two qualifying times. None of us knew what we were doing but we had fun. It was a muddy weekend and she hasn’t had a bath in two weeks because she just got her SA skin punch done before her next breeding, so now it’s off to the salon!

And they’re off! Sending puppies home is a little bittersweet but makes all the work and love we put into raising them more than worth it. They are all doing so well with their new families and we couldn’t be more proud of these smart, fun, adorable babies. We’re ready for a little break from scooping p**p, but are already excited to do it all again next year. ☺️💕
