Cumberland Command K9

For almost 10 years I have worked with military K9's and the past year with civilian dogs and their loving owners. In this time I have realized that while the intensity of training may vary between working dogs and house companions the relationship really doesn't. I venture to assume that as strongly as I have felt toward my K9 partners I have had, most people feel the same if not stronger toward

their fury family. I have learned that alot of people want to know how to become not just pet owners but responsible pet owners even team mates. Here at Cumberland Command K9 I strive to bridge the gap between the working dog and their handlers and the people who love their pets so dearly. To help them understand that through consistent training and well time positive reward that they can experience the bond we profession K9 handlers experience everyday. This skill and training runs through every aspect of life from home behavior to out in the world and getting to take your pets everywhere with you. Pets are no longer pets to us they are family and they deserve the same consideration on how to exist in the world around us as we get being raised by our parents. Through Structure comes love. Structure, Reward , Love. Understanding these thing compound on each other and one is not to supersede the other is the foundation to understanding how our dogs encounter and love so unconditionally.
