We still have a cute little 6mo approx Mini Highland x Mini Hereford Bull Calf available! He is inquisitive and curious but not gentle. He respects electric fence. We have donkeys! These guys are fresh out of Ohio, full disclosure. They were only exposed to other donkeys.

1- 2 year old gelded Jack. This guy is very nervous but sweet and wants to be loved. He is not halter broke but I did start. 1k

2- Standard Mule Gelding Weanling/Coming Yearling. Should get big enough to be ridden. A little spicy baby who is started in the halter but still thinks he needs to live wild and free. Very food motivated! 1.5k

3- One you won't see too often! Standard Weanling/Coming Yearling. This guy is a total clean slate project and we did not halter him. He should also get big enough to ride. 1.5k

4- This gentle kind donkey hasn't had the best life. 15yr Mini Gelded Jack. He is slow and polite. He is recovering from some skin issues around his year and will be medicated. His feet are chopped to clubs insinuating he once went a while without care. 700

I have the CUTEST 1 and 3/4 eared Morgan X for consideration! He is a June 2023 baby, coming yearling. He currently stands around 13H. I haven't string tested him but I expect him to be pretty tall. He's a good citizen with all other horses, respects the fence when hot, loads, leads, and ties. He has a negative coggins and will be wormed. As he is, I will let him go for 9️⃣5️⃣0️⃣

This is a baby I really wanted for myself, but with the addition of a different prospect and a major vet bill, I have to let him move.

Here's the kids ponies I get asked about all the time.

17 year old former English Western Lesson Pony. Has also done guided trails. Rides alone or with others. Low Medium in pecking order. Keeps on hay. Leads, loads, ties, picks up feet. Needs some more refresher on basic groundwork as she is a little fidgety. I just had a kid out to hop on for some pictures. This pony is a little more forward and can keep up with the big guys. Negative coggins, good feet, due for a dental.

I have a 20+ Pony Mare looking for a safe landing. She is a former Amish School Pony broke to ride and drive. She moves sound on the grass/dirt but is ouchy on gravel. Walk trot only. This would be a great companion mare who could also tote your grandkids around. Saddled photo is the day she arrived, pasture photo was yesterday. Putting on weight nicely.

Her only vices are that she is a little hard to catch right now since it's never really been for something fun until now, and she does paw a little when Mare. She is a little cinch, I assume from getting cranked on. Other than that she loads, leads, ties, picks up feet, and is a good mare.

Our Story

My name is Kaitlyn Johnson, and ever since I have been three years old I've known I was meant to work with horses. I started out as most horse crazy children with a Miniature Horse by the name of Nalla who I gleefully rode until I outgrew. At the age of 5 I began my love for show competing in the Cloverbud Division for 3 years at the Newaygo County Fair. At the age of 8 I leased a 16 hand Paint by the name of Rane who would develop my passion for Huntseat. I purchased my first project horse at the age of twelve, a dangerously misbehaved Haflinger by the name of Chester. Chester quickly became my trademark horse making us well known throughout the West Michigan horse community. I developed a passion for rehabilitating problem horses and have since worked with several, although not all mine. I have been well known by my family as the girl brave enough to test ride just about any horse!

My training methods are unique in the fact that they are truly hundreds of methods combined into a diverse plan. Growing up I have studied and attended seminars by trainers such as Larry Trocha, Ken McNabb, Julie Goodnight, Monty Roberts, and several others. I use key methods from each trainer in my own technique. I implement methods of both R+ (Positive Reinforcement) while also using traditional disciplinary methods when necessary. I believe in utilizing methods from all fronts of disciplines ranging from Dressage to Reining. While the focus of Twisted Time Equine has and will always be personal project horses I also offer services for outside horses including but not limited to Training, Grooming, Consignment, and Evaluation.
