Lake County Veterinary Clinics is a small animal practice serving Two Harbors, Duluth, Grand Marais and surrounding areas. Our staff works in a team-setting and good communication skills are necessary. At our Two Harbors location, we are open 8am-5pm Monday through Friday and have a well-equipped clinic which includes an in-house lab, radiology, digital dental radiology, and surgical suite. Our Grand Marais clinic is open 10am-3pm Tuesdays and Thursdays and offers an in-house lab and minimal surgical capabilities. We are a progressive, compassionate clinic in a family-like professional setting.
We are in need of a Customer Service Representative for our Grand Marais location. This position would include: answering phones, greeting clients and patients, client communication and education, various computer related functions, and extensive use of our veterinary program software. The applicant needs to have strong communication and organizational skills, be responsible and dependable, and willing to be flexible in a hospital setting.
Receptionist/office experience preferred but not required. Training provided. Applicant must be capable of some lifting (with assistance, as needed) and be comfortable working with dogs and cats of various size, breed, age and health condition.
If applicant lives in Two Harbors or Duluth area, they can drive with Two Harbors staff to Grand Marais in the clinic vehicle. Employees are paid during the drive to and from Grand Marais. Also, there may be an occasional shift that is needed to be filled in the Two Harbors clinic.
Pay scale will be based on experience and amount of work hours agreed upon. This is a Part-Time position.
