Never in a million years did I expect to have another puppy that I connected with as much as I did Uhtred when he was born, but here we are. I am absolutely obsessed with this handsome little guy and I don’t see myself being able to let him go. I think he has already found his home. He’s not solid white anymore, but he’s so perfect to me! 😭 He has this really cute cream patch over his right eye, cream patches on his ears, and the cutest freckles on his nose. I already love him so much! With that said, gimme all the name ideas so that I can give him a name and make it even harder for my husband to tell me I can’t keep him! 😂

***UPDATE***

Surgery was a success. My appendix was removed around 1pm today and the surgery went smoothly. I am doing pain management in the hospital tonight and then hopefully going home tomorrow. Thank you all so much for your kind words, thoughts, and prayers! I’m so thankful for each and every one of you!

Good evening everyone!

I have had quite the past couple of weeks. I was having a lot of abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, and weight loss suddenly. After a few weeks of it with no progress, I finally gave in to Michael’s requests and went to the ER last Wednesday. They diagnosed me with appendicitis and transferred me to a hospital to get my appendix removed. While I was there, I began vomiting straight blood and had to be moved to ICU and received two blood transfusions. They then transferred me to another hospital that gave me two more units of blood then did an EGD and found an ulcer that they cauterized and clipped and sent me home. Within the coming days, I was still in a ton of pain, so I went back to the ER where they stated that my appendicitis was progressing and decided to transfer me to have my appendix removed. I have been through a ton of testing and waiting to determine if the hospital was going to actually remove my appendix this time. We finally received confirmation today that they are going to remove my appendix in the morning. Hopefully from there, I will only get better and better.

I say all of this because I know I have not been very good at updating on puppies or messaging people back about what is available at this time. For that I truly do apologize! I am hopeful that by this weekend I will be on the mend and able to start messaging everyone back that has inquired about babies. I again apologize that this has happened and I’m extremely grateful for your patience as I try to heal and get back to all of you as soon as possible.

We had a surprise birth tonight! Momma did great but we have another cleft palate baby. 😢 If any fellow dachshund “lovers” have experience with raising these babies like this, I’m open to suggestions. This every 3 hours feeding is going to be exhausting and it didn’t go over so well for me last time because I lost her. Let me know if you have any tips on how to help her grow strong and healthy since she can’t latch and will be solely fed by me with puppy formula. Prayers that she makes it and check out that solid white baby!!! 😱 Let me go ahead and add that he is not a double dapple baby. There’s absolutely no chance of that.

I really didn’t feel like being still for a moment long enough to get a decent picture during my photo shoot, so please forgive my not so good pictures. Hi there!!!! 🐾 I am a handsome cream. I have the cutest freckles on my face. I’m still very young, but I’m starting to show my personality a little. I absolutely love snuggling up with my momma and siblings and the occasional hooman, but I’m also the most curious baby of my siblings.
