Can’t remember what I paid for this (Best Buddy Lickimat) but not worth it for less than 4 minutes worth of engagement. It takes longer than that to clean it up. I used frozen peanut butter.
This is my sweet foster, 11-week old Chester who will be available for adoption at SPCAEASTTX this Saturday. He is so smart & so willing to please. I woke him up from his after-dinner nap for his evening clicker training session so he’s pretty laid back in this video. That full tummy makes finishing that rollover a little challenging but he’s very intent on pleasing me. In addition to sit, down, rollover & come, Chester knows “kennel up!” & will potty on cue outside. BONUS: He sleeps thru the night!
If you see Chester in your family, I will be happy to do a complimentary in-home lesson with him to help him get integrated into your home & help him get started off on the right paw!
Thank you so much Debby Burgett; you made Lexie’s day! Like all little kids, she loves opening the box. And you could not have gotten her anything she likes more than antlers!! She doesn’t get them very often either because they are so pricey. She is contentedly lying on the floor gnawing away. You made my day, too! Thank you so much for being so thoughtful!
Here’s another shot of Frosty. It’s taken a while for her to warm up to me — now when she sees my bait bag she’s happy to approach. (She thinks the Goldens make fools of themselves because they will sit, down, come, etc. for treats. Not Frosty! It’s all on her terms.)
Bandit & Bella - Too much brown sugar this early on Sunday morning?
Anybody else’s pooch think you forgot about dinner tonite?
Oh my, Lexie, what big teeth you have!
See, Judy Parsons, they are all just big ole stick-eating 💩s!!
We are a Kong family! This is Lexie's attempt to "save" Lady's kong from that other pesky puppy that she's found out hangs out in the glass - mimicking her every move!
Here's that dangerous pittie puppy, Charlie, loving to learn a trick to make mommy smile!
So our sweet little baby Charley has grown into a strong-as-an-ox,10-month old adolescent male who is going from the "only child" to getting a new little human sibling early next year. Charley needs to learn some manners ASAP! Mom & Dad have done a great job with Charley who loves doggie school ("all attention is on ME & it comes with treats!") He's a very quick study and has brains as well as good looks! I'm so proud of this little family!
This is the big gray bear, Smokey, who loves his pizza!
Princess is a newly adopted deaf Heeler/Australian Shepherd mix (i.e., brilliant dog!). Patience is teaching her hand signals for sit & down using the "magnet nose" technique. Be sure to note that not only does Patience reward Princess with food treats but also is very generous with her physical praise. You could literally see both Patience & Princess bask in their sense of accomplishment! I've told Patience she definitely has a job with Cici's Canine Coaching in about 20 years!
Cici's Canine Coaching - ESL 101
This dog just graduated from one of my very exclusive ESL classes. Did pretty well, didn't he?
STOP PUPPY MILLS!
I'm posting this in memory of little Huck who would want me to tell you -- Please spay and neuter your dogs! No puppy should have to suffer like this beautiful little baby.
