February is Dental Month! Throughout the month of February, we are offering 10% off our routine dental cleaning.
Periodontal disease is the most common clinical condition that occurs in adult dogs and cats. It is seen as an infection and inflammation of the tissues that surrounds and supports the teeth. This disease begins when bacteria in the mouth form plaque that sticks to the surface of the teeth. When mixed with saliva, it causes that plaque to harden, forming tartar on the teeth. Without a professional dental cleaning, periodontal disease can lead to other major health problems throughout the body.
