We are seeing TONS of allergy appointments right now.
🐶🐱Allergies in dogs and cats show up as scratching, itching, chewing, biting, red inflamed skin, hair loss, and ear infections.
*If it makes you cough or sneeze (think pollens or other known allergens) it will make your pet ITCH if they are allergic.
You don't cure allergies but we can manage them.
Flea and Tick Season is here believe it or not 😭
It's easy to forget about and even The Shirey family was hit last year.
We've got options -
Chews, Topical, and Collars (our favorite)

Dental disease can go unnoticed and it is still the #1 disease that walks thru my door at the clinic.
We want to stop the dental decay and disease before it starts, that's where a dental cleaning comes in. We want to save as many teeth as possible.
This month, schedule a cleaning and save $50 for one pet or $75 if you have multiple.
✅ Give us a call or send a message to get scheduled, we have limited spots available.
It's really piling up out there! 🤣
We're going to play in it anyways! 2025 we're ready for you! We're also open today, so come on in!
🥶Rest assured no technicians were harmed or frozen while making this video.

Ribbons, Tinsel, Holiday Decor and Cats....and Dogs
PSA- Christmas Decorations are all warm and fuzzy feelings until they get stuck inside your cat or dog.
This time of year, we are typically going to surgery with curious pets as they love to play with ribbons, tinsel, bows, and decorations. Please be careful with these items that are within reach.
New pet to the house? Keep a watchful eye. If you think your pet is acting strange, give us a call. Think ornaments are missing from your tree and your pet is looking at you with sad guilty eyes, give us a call.
Better safe than sorry!

The Shirey Pumpkins!
Can you guess which one is Dr. Shireys???
Healthy Weight and Cats
Weight management starts early with our four-legged friends.
We get it! Even our own clinic cat, Douglas (aka: Doug) is starting to struggle. He eats when he wants!
We have a metabolic food option that can help our feline friends feel satisfied and full but not have to be restricted and grumpy on a diet.

Grapes Are Toxic to Dogs
We have a whole list of foods and plants that are toxic to pets but did you know that list includes grapes?
Grapes are TOXIC to dogs (not all dogs but we don't know until they ingest them, and we do not want to take that chance).
Grapes = Kidney Failure
