Pepper Update 🌶️

Pepper arrived safe and sound Friday evening and we gave her the weekend to relax in her quarantine paddock. Today she got a bath which she did NOT enjoy 😂. The first two pictures are from Friday and the last two are from today after her bath. She already is starting to look less ribby 💜

This mare "Pepper" who is a Bay/Roan Quarter Horse around 7 years old is in need of a wonderful home. Pepper was once sitting in a pasture, the owner died and the family sold the horses to a kill buyer. Luckily she hasn’t had to go to auction just yet! I think with some formal training, we could make Pepper into something special. This poor girl could really use a soft landing that our Equestrian Center is more than happy to provide. Thank you friends and family for joining us for our 2nd Fall Classic, and everyone who helped make this show run as smoothly as possible!! We are so proud of all of our students hard work and growth. Also, thank you Bridle Path Tack for coming out to get our retail needs met with some gorgeous options and Pikes Pits for keeping us all well fed for the day…definitely the best barbecue around!!! What a great day!!

The MKR Annual Gymkhana was one for the books yesterday! Not only did we have fun, but all of our students hard work paid off tremendously. We could not be more proud of these amazing young ladies. Plus, it’s always fun when you get to go chase some cans with your students too 😎😎. Big Thank you to Low Places Ranch for making this event absolutely amazing, and for suppling these rockstars with Poulin grain and the most beautiful alfalfa

Good Evening Everyone,

Our very loved Ms. Tessa is retiring from our lesson program and will be heading home on Wednesday. Tessa has been the most wonderful little lesson pony who taught us all so much. We wish we could rewind her clock back and keep her forever. Thank you so much Amanda Defazio for trusting us and our students to love and care for her the past few years. Tessa is looking forward to spending time with her own little human Milania. Everyone make sure to give Tessa an extra treat and a big hug this week!!! It won’t be the same looking into the paddock and not seeing our old dino/fluffball/mini Avalon😭😭.

Looking forward to our Fall Classic Show!

-Just a reminder, all riders please arrive by 9am and we will have someone assisting with where to park.
-Our show will be held in our outdoor ring, and we ask for only students and horse handlers to be in the barn where the horses are stalled.
-COME HUNGRY!!! Pikes Pits,a professional barbecue team will have their food truck on site for a great lunch option. They are amazing!!
-Lastly, please bring your own chairs.

Hello Everyone, sorry for the delay on posting this on social media!! We are very excited to be having our own in-house showcase for all of our students and boarders. Entry forms and class lists can be found in the tack room. The dress code for this event is posted in the tack room as well as the front of the barn.
Our showcase will be held in the indoor arena to utilize our awesome new footing, and the outdoor arena will be for warming up. All W/T class are open to lead line as well (including ground poles and gymkhana events). If you have any questions regarding which classes to sign up for, please don’t hesitate to ask Sara or your instructor.
There will be a food booth on site…and I highly suggest seeing what will be on that lunch menu (come hungry). All volunteers are welcome and everyone bring your costumes for our last fun class of the day!! Looking forward to seeing you all on the 23rd

Super Proud of this team! Brooke and Karma have had their fair shares of ups and downs this season trying to figure each other out, but all the effort Brooke has put in everyday is really starting to pay off. Yesterday was the first day back to racing after a little time off and they nailed it running a 17.1 and a 16.9. Both runs were smooth and ridden VERY well. Awesome job Cookie and we are lucky to have you on the Power and Stride team ❤️

Super Exciting News!!

The moment many of us have been waiting for…we are getting new footing in our indoor arena on Monday!! Unfortunately that means our indoor will be shut down all day. We will do our best to try and reschedule all lessons since it is February vacation 😎😎
