One method I use when temperament testing: Reaction to foreign object and “scary” unfamiliar noise. Green flags: Interest in object, or just ignore it/seem unbothered. Recover quickly after the initial scare, if spooked. ✅

Red flags are severe skittish reactions, squeaking, jumping away, cowering, burying themselves, or hiding in the corner.

I love watching the babies enjoy their forage pot toys! These toys are a great way to add simple enrichment to the cage. It makes snack time more fun for them, and it looks cute in the cage too. ☺️ (Available in various sizes from our accessory shop)

Fauna/Jane/Freya’s babies. When litters reach 3 weeks, I introduce them to a larger enrichment cage, with other litters and mothers. Typically I’ll house 2 or 3 litters together. The mothers do an excellent job in raising the babies TOGETHER ❤️
